We have stayed at this property in the past because of its location, but likely will not stay again. On checkin, our room smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. We were offered another room, but it would not be on the first floor, which was necessary for mobility issues. Also, we had been driving for nearly 15 hours, so just wanted to get some rest. We also were not able to get ice because both machines to which we were directed were not working - no ice! So, I had to walk to a nearby truck stop (Love's) to purchase ice ($2.99 + tax). We did not go to the breakfast "buffet," so I can't comment on that. But overall, the property - especially the area surrounding the pool - seemed poorly maintained. Consequently, I will not stay there again, and would not recommend this property to other travelers.

Check in was easy and we were able to request a different room with no problem. Property is older and looks worn, but the bed in our room was comfortable and the room was clean. Lots of truck noise from resting and overnight trucks at adjacent truck stop. Great restaurant across the street with an extensive menu and breakfast. We chose to go there for breakfast. Fine for the overnight during our road trip.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The children in our group loved playing on the large grassy area by the pool. The breakfast was surprisingly good for a smallish roadside hotel. Even our vegan friends were able to eat a nice breakfast. This was a quick overnight stop on a longer trip. It was fine for what was needed.
