A lovely room with good amenities. The included breakfast was a useful start to the day. There were limited gluten free options but enough for a decent breakfast. Loved the snug as somewhere to chill in the evenings. It’s a shame we came when there was no food available in the evening but the Italian next door was wonderful. Only negative for me was lack of parking onsite. As a disabled person it was a little tricky to negotiate unloading and managing the stairs so maybe something to consider if you’re in the same position.

The hotel is being refurbished inside and outside which it needed. Service is very good, dinner very good, breakfast is basic continental. Secondary double glazing on a listed building means its noisy. I would still recommend it as a budget hotel.

The Landsdowne is a delightful boutique hotel of historic significance that is welcoming and in the heart of town centre. Hannah was informative and helpful - always there to answer questions and make sure service was on point. The dining was superb! We will definitely return when in Calne.
