I was very disappointed that this hotel was offered on Hotels.com. The building was run-down, the WIFI did not work, there was no on-site dining, the only security was a camera over the side entry door which was not locked at night. I would not ever recommend staying at this location.

The staff is highly motivated to put an old property to its best use. The facility needs work. My room had visible mold in a number of places. The in room air conditioner was very loud.

Quiet staff was helpful however there was a lot of patch work and we had clumpd of hair in the shower and shower drain. Overall the room was comfortable but needed to really be cleaned and fixed up.

The place is rundown. Looks abandoned from the road side. No lock on the outside door so anyone could walk in. It smells musty. At least the ac worked and the bed was comfortable enough.

The pictures on the Expedia site depicting this property must have been taken years ago as there was no relation to what we saw with our own eyes. Although the room provided us with an opportunity to rest and sleep, it was very outdated as the entire property was. The room has a kind of musty odor and the mattress cover on the pull out bed was stained and had evidence of mouse droppings. The nightly price we paid of $350 was not in relation to the overall conditions.

There is an empty, former restaurant attached to the hotel which makes it look like it might be sketchy but the lobby and rooms very clean, comfortable and well decorated. The staff was very friendly too. Don’t judge a book by its cover. It was a very nice stay for a great price and close to the aquarium.

It is located close to Foxwoods and mystic Aquarium. We were able to check in earlier than 3. The outside of the hotel is not ideal. The outside doors that say locked 24/7 were wide open. No key required. The room was ok however someone tired to get into our room in the middle of the night. I always put something in front of the door overnight. We were woken up by a loud band. The top foor was half open and the it not for the loud bang of the luggage rack slamming into the door, someone could have walked into our room and we wouldn't have know it. We believe they had a key. The bottom lock was also unlocked. We lock everything when in the hotel room.
