Definitely won't go back.

Booked here because they used to have a good water park for the kids. Only AFTER booking and paying were we told the waterpark is under renovations... The whole hotel is dirty and all the carpets and chairs in the rooms are stained with only god knows what...dirty people hanging at the "pub" in the hotel and they linger around the front entrance and just grease the place up even more. Not recommended.

The pool area is handled like a prison. We had brought water bottles to fill up with the water station and had to place them to the side on the main pool lady’s desk/towel area and couldn’t leave them at our table. I would never stay here again. The side is awesome. It’s unfortunate. The pool was also shocked and closed down during peak hours twice for 30mins. There was no “incidents”. Needs investment in common areas: beware!

All the hallway carpets needed to be replaced likely a year ago - hallway wooden surfaces all need urgent attention too. My room was okay and the take away food & service from the in house restaurant was excelled. A point of “redemption” - person at the front desk was very helpful but the hallways - dirty carpeting - need attention ASAP; not a good impression. Place seemed busy over Labour Day weekend; some re-investment in revenue stream needed to maintain customers. Despite the pluses, I am unlikely to return.

The hotel and our room was good. The hotel is outdated. They are doing updates. Only complaint was the pool area we could not bring any drinks or water with us “not allowed”. Also they added chemicals during the hours the pool was open. Each time I get added the pool, hot tumbling weee closed for 45 minutes. So even the pool hours were 9am to 9 pm Minus off 1.5 hours from that. Why chemicals aren’t added way before pools open and after closed. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and our waitress was great

Refund Request for stay not honored by my hotel.

I arrived at the Front Desk to check-in and was informed that my reservation was being cancelled as i was not welcome to stay at their hotel any longer. I was shocked snd embarrassed as i had no idea why this was the case. The Front Desk person said thst i had been swnt an wmakl and should've knowncand the reservstipn would not be honored. I was completely taken aback and turned to leave. I realized i had already paid and told the Rep that I had already paid and what could i now do to get my monyyey back if i was not being allowed to stay. The Rep seemed unsure as to how to respond. He thencm said tjat i should contsct expedia and they would be able to help me. I leftcthe property on embarrassment and shamecand proceede to contact hotels.com in hopes of requesting to speak on the phone with an agent to find resilution, but was unable to do so. Ai asked mecsome questions tk determinecl the best coirse of acfion, but then seemed to start over from the very begonning by asking the very same she had asked right at our initial introduction atcpoint of contact. I ended the call as thr AI rather then providing me with a person to ommunicste with. I do not like communicating through text, as i am very slow with typjng text and find it Increasingly difficult to see and type due to my difficulty with the small fontcsize and my increasing difficulty in keeping up to the pace of the questions and repeatedly typing the text over and over again due to my extremely poor typing ski
