I chose the Hotel Florida for its close walking distance to the Hopon Hopoff bus terminal location, because that is what my spouse wanted to do. She wanted to see the major tourist attractions and this was the best way to accomplish that in just 2 days. They have a great breakfast and the room looks right out at the Praca Marques de Pombal monument and traffic circle. There is a great dinner resteraunt right next door. The Hotel Florida was an excellent choice.

The room was so dated. Old furnitures need to be replaced. TV set was so outdated and small it looked like a computer monitor. TV stations were disappointing limited. No cable news, sports channel etc. Bathroom floor had stains. I wouldn’t agree that it was rated a four star hotel, I have to give credit to the staff for being helpful and attentive to our needs.
