Great for a beach stay

The views from Pompano are spectacular, you'll never have seen so many shades of blue - from aqua to deep blue, irrespective of the weather. It's stunning and the hotel is very well located if you want a fabulous beach stay, or fishing. The water is clear enough to see parrot fish from a balcony a couple of floors up. Lots of areas to sit and relax in. Comfortable rooms. The staff and friendly and helpful.

I loved that this property had an absolutely beautiful beach. The water was crystal clear and shallow far out into the ocean. The food at both restaurants was incredible! The staff was very helpful and friendly. My major complaint about this property was having no clear warning about the amount of stairs (limited accessibility for people with strollers, in wheelchairs, or with mobility issues). I have a bad knee, so I had to take things very slow, and was sore most days. I did appreciate having three hot tubs to chose from, but there were some issues with temperature control (some hot tubs were luke warm while others were scalding hot). Lastly, I called ahead to make sure there were no facility closures or construction at the hotel before arriving, and was told "everything is open except the water sports"). In reality, the spa closed the day after we arrived, which was frustrating because the spa was one of the main reasons I chose Pompano. Wish I had gotten more spa options. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying at Pompano.

When we went, there was some bad weather. The property was fun to hang out at since it was too cold, rainy and windy to venture out. We played board games, and chatted with the friendly staff. The food onsite was good too. Very clean meals. Glad we chose the half board option which is free breakfast and free dinner. Would definitely go back there!

Had a wonderful stay and rate the grounds and staff a 10 . The rooms could have been a bit better. Had a lot of spiders and a few crawling bugs. Do take in consideration that it is a more tropical climate which promotes them. But would definitely go back.

Not sure how this is a 4 star hotel, it’s not clean and the hotel appears very old. Room had a wet smell with old bathroom mats on the floor which you wouldn’t even want to step on. Overall it gives motel vibe. On positive note food was average and view is the best thing, it’s absolutely beautiful (just the view). Not worth the money, book elsewhere

This resort is perfectly located and we loved our view and beach. However, while loving the old time resort style, considerable renovation and cleaning should be done of this resort Our biggest complaint would be overall cleanliness. Rooms were not well cleaned and dining area so full of birds and droppings that it got to be unpleasant
