We had an issue with our toilet, the seat was broken. We tried to call down to the front desk but our phone was not working. Went down and waited nearly 15 minutes before anyone showed up. Manager on Duty Raj, switched our rooms. New room had no closet, no where to hang jackets/clothes, window was broken, glass had a crack from one end to the other. Floor was first and sticky, and bottle of shampoo was empty. Terrible all around. And the price was way too much for the condition of the property. Will never stay here again, and will never recommend to any of my clients.

Staff were very nice & room was clean. The 3rd floor had a bit of a musty smell in the hallway & this hotel houses a lot of construction workers so there was a lot of big trucks running outside at 5 am and heavy work boots stomping around very early.

Second visit in 2 weeks - pool still good, breakfast still carb heavy, but loved that there was a breakfast at all. Check in was easy and room still fine for a nights sleep - however - as I was trying to get my kid to bed at 9:30pm she pointed out that smeared on the wall were several boogers. It looked as though a previous occupant was laying in bed and just picked their nose and wiped it on the wall. So gross, but we had to get up very early for a dance competition so we just went to bed. I informed the front desk about this, but yeah....basically I was told that we should have asked for another room that night.....at 9:30pm with us having to get up very early.....not super impressed with that one.

Hotel is clean enough. Bed is quite firm and pool is great for the kids. The rooms are rundown (the inside of our bathroom door looked like it had been through a war). The rooms have an overly floral smell - like a deodorizer spray - I can see this bothering anyone with scent issue as it was VERY strong. The breakfast is okay - lots of carbs such as pastries and cereals, there is a waffle maker but no cup or oil spray so what comes out is tasty but messy. The only protein is boiled eggs - but they don't have that weird hotel boiled egg taste so thumbs up on that. We were staying for 1 night as just a place to sleep and swim and for that it was worth the cheaper price - in fact, we are booked again here for our next competition in this area.

A basic 'no frills' standard highway motel consistent with other Super 8 motels. Located close to and with easy off and on access to Ontario Highway 401. Location is generally light industrial and adjacent road is quiet at night. Pool is indoors but relatively small. Included breakfast is 'basic continental'. DIY if you want toast or waffles. No eggs. Croissants and pastries are fresh but standard fare. Checkin was quick and efficient. Motel consists of four floors with rooms on each floor. If I'm in the area again and want a clean quiet bed for a night or two, I'd stay again. No issues.

I know this is a Super 8 and I don’t expect luxury, but I do expect a clean room. Unfortunately, ours clearly hadn’t been cleaned well. The floors weren’t swept or vacuumed, there was a previous guest’s shirt left behind, dust on the phone and window ledges, bugs on the window sill, and the room smelled. The bathroom floor had small black hairs, and the nightstand had a questionable white/clear substance on it. I’m giving two stars instead of one because housekeeping did come right away when we reported it and cleaned the room, which I appreciated. But basic cleanliness should really be the starting point.

My room was better this stay. However the 2nd morning I went down for breakfast and there was a thick, dark, pinky nail length hair in the boiled eggs. There is a worker who constantly walks back & forth in the area, so I can’t believe it wasn’t seen and replaced.
