Best beach steps away from your room.

The location is fantastic. Best beach you can ask for steps away from your room. Staff very helpful. Good options for food - breakfast is probably the best with multitude of juices, fruit and hearty items. Get past the timeshare sales that is offered upon arrival and you will have a great vacation.

Hotel hat eine Traumlage, Strände sehr schön, kristallines Wasser. Einrichtung etwas veraltet, v.a. das Bad ist unpraktisch und eng. Dafür haben Zimmer eine atemberaubende Aussicht aufs offene Meer. Morgendlicher, lästiger Kampf um Liegestühle, oft zu wenig Badetücher. Buffet gut und abwechslungsreich. Service an der Bar top. Service allgemein unfreundlich.

Best beach on the island, and I loved the dining options! This resort was ideal, plenty of beach loungers, not crowded, and attentive waitstaff! The room - which we only needed for sleeping was clean, had a comfortable bed, and great shower. Enjoyed the reserved dining options and the buffet. Will be back every year!

Wonderful visit, beautiful setting, delicious array of food in the buffet for all 3 meals, staff is fantastic, friendly and professional. As others have mentioned, the rooms need updating but it didn't deter from the visit. I didnt read anywhere about this, but you cannot flush toilet paper in the toilet, not just for the hotel but the island and even in a couple of locations on the mainland that we visited. It's an adjustment! The hotel should have provided more direction around this. A garbage can next to the toilet is not enough. Bags to deposit toilet paper in is a minimum of what would help. This shouldn't let it deter you however. The island of Las Mujeres has a wonderful feel. Many gift stores are touristy but fun. We enjoyed our trip immensely.

Beach it’s just amazing, small resort which is great . 5 min walk to the town . food not so great , not to many options , only 2 ala cart and not that great .disappointed with Mexican though would be more authentic Mexican food . night entertainment only for 1h and that is it so 8pm you in bed .

Read a lot of bad reviews before going. Very relieved most of them were wrong. The hotel is fine. Clean, quiet, excellent staff, food good. It’s not a mega hotel so the food options are limited as in they serve 100 guest rather than 300 at a large all inclusive resort. So yes, the pool is smaller, the entertainment is on the smaller side, etc. being on an private island was perfect as Northbeach was wall to wall people on the weekends with 20 to 30 boats parked from Cancun. Way too crowded for us so we were happy to be at the Mia. Town a five minute walk away, ferry building 10 minute walk. One thing to note is for any excursions you do from the hotel concierge or golf cart rental requires CASH only. Mia Spa and gift shop will take a credit cards. Staff very very friendly and the bar, restaurant staff VERY service oriented and charming.

Its definitely a touristy destination. If you are expecting a more traditional experience this is not the okace to go. The resort itself needs a lot of renovations and a lot more variety of their food selections. And be prepared to definitely be treated different from the VIP club members, including food and adult beverages.

Fantastic location. Great staff but the place is really run down and due for renovation. Also noticed less staff to keep the place clean compared to other resorts and hotels in Cancun. For example you will dirty glass windows around the property and not enough employees to keep them clean everyday. Even at their seat down Mexican restaurant all widows are old and foggy and should b erepalce.

If you’re looking for a low key resort with excellent service this is the resort! Staff and service were top notch. Property could use some upgrades. Rooms were clean, but dated. Food wasn’t the best but we didn’t starve. Buffet did have a decent selection. Rented a golf cart to go into town and see the sights, if your look for night life there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from! The beaches, I must say were the best I have seen, my husband and I have been to a many resorts in Mexico and the Isla Mujeres, Mia Reef Resort has one of the best! Clean, beautiful white sand and water so blue! It is the first resort we did not have to wake at dawn to fight for a lounge chair on the beach. It might be because we went the first part of Jan, not sure. If you’re looking for relaxing and quiet place this is the place! This resort will be on our list of places to return. Hopefully they will continue to update the rooms and buildings.
