This was a very mediocre extended stay motel. We thought it was going to be a boutique hotel(my mistake for not researching more closely), so we were very disappointed. The front desk staff was friendly. We were there for a wedding and only stayed for one night. It was inexpensive

Hotel employee at check-in was extremely polite and professional. However the rooms need updating and deep cleaning BADLY! The living room area had old bulky furniture pieces that were super dusty. The bedroom had only one electrical outlet available for plugging in our phone chargers and we had to physically move the bedside table across the room to set our phones on while they charged so they wouldn't be on the disgusting carpet. The back of that table and the wall behind it were covered in thick dust. Plus there wasn't a dresser, armoire or table to set folded clothes on or in. The bathroom lighting was so dim that you couldn't even tell if the tub/shower combo was clean, it was disgusting! The pictures of this property used on Hotels.com site are a joke!

The setup of the room was quite pleasant, yet it had a lingering odor of stale cigarettes, which was surprising given that smoking is prohibited on the property. Upon entering, I noticed visible stains on the couch, and I was staying in the first lady suite. The initial staff members were very friendly, but the general manager, Victoria Jackson, was impolite, unhelpful, and biased. She was not only disrespectful to me but also to my guest. I certainly did not anticipate such treatment, especially since I travel frequently and usually book with VIP access. To be honest, people generally tend to be more courteous when you spend more money, but that was definitely not the experience here. It felt like a Cinderella story that turned into a disaster after midnight.

I arrived and the courtyard was beautiful and I was excited about my stay. Upon entering the room it smelled and the couch and ottoman were covered with food and stains. The walls were black from dirt and the toilet was full of mold. I immediately went and told them I’d not be staying and asked for a refund. I was told it would be taken care of. The next day I was only giver 1/2 back. The site said nonrefundable which I understand, but it’s not like I changed my plans. The room was not fit to stay in. I have never been so disgusted by a room in my life. It’s listed as a good hotel and I don’t know how. I recommend you stay somewhere else.

They go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and accommodated. The staff is great. I suggest that you check out the corner rooms has their own bedroom. Seems like they’re a little bit more upgraded I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! And the value is awesome on top of that. They have wine from. I believe it’s 5 to 7 can’t beat it.

Hotels.com needs to remove this hotel from their site. Absolutely horrendous - from stained furniture, dirty stained mattresses, chemical cleaning smell that hurt our lungs, to outdated damaged furniture and run down facilities. Our family walkedn our room and our mouths dropped at the poor condition. Not sure how it passes inspections. Charged over $230 for a 5 min stay and immediately checked into the Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center (total luxury)for leas than The Vineyard! I told the lady at the Vineyard front desk why we were checking out and, of course, there was no refund and no apology. So disappointing.
