I would like to share my experience from my stay last night at the Candlewood Hotel in Lake Mary, Florida.
Upon arrival, the hotel made a great first impression. It is beautiful and surrounded by nature. However, when it came time to sleep, the experience was completely different.
I was assigned room 423, and once everything was turned off, the noise from the nearby freeway was very noticeable. I understand that the hotel has soundproofing, but in my case it was not sufficient or did not function effectively, as the noise was constant and made it very difficult to rest.
After trying to sleep for over an hour, I had to go down to the front desk to request a room change. I was moved to room 101, where the noise was somewhat reduced, but still noticeable. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable night and I was only able to get very little rest.
It is unfortunate, because the hotel has great potential, but this issue significantly affects the guest experience.
I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter, as it may impact other guests as well.
Thank you for your attention.
