The hotel itself was rather nice and all the service members I interacted with were very responsive and sought to help immediately.
The room assigned to me (probably because I booked through Hotels.com) had a window that opened on an indoor covered patio. This means that the sun's rays never managed to come to my room.
I left the hotel very disappointed as my room was rather stuffy and too hot. I tried the A/C, but it was blowing hot air, and that could not be changed as the hotel has a central system that was (for a few more days) set on heat. On top of it, my fridge did not work, and the TV was a mess (1/3 of the channels showed a grainy, snow-filled picture that regularly lost focus; for another third of the channels, the TV could not find the signal...). That left me, basically, with Spanish-speaking channels. Let's not mention the guests who loitered and spoke loudly close to midnight in the hallways.
To be fair: breakfast was okay, the wifi was very good, and the staff was exceptional.
