We have stayed here in the past, it wasn’t the best, but it was cheap… now, it’s under new ownership, it’s like a complete 180… new flooring in the rooms, much cleaner than I remember, and it no longer smells of cigarettes, I’m glad we gave it another try, we will be back.

We happened to stay here during a lot of construction on the street, and renovation within the hotel. Despite this, our stay was very pleasant. Check-in staff was nice, and the room was very clean and spacious. Beds were comfy and shower was hot with good pressure. Breakfast was pretty good - it was continental but included a waffle maker, yogurt, toast, and cereal.

Obviously in the middle of a renovation, we got in late and got one that still needed new carpet and paint (heavy smoke and damp smells, but we had shower shoes.) Bed was comfy, seemed new, and the sheets were clean (and a fitted bottom sheet!).

The hotel was old and smelly. The breakfast was basic. The only thing that stood out about this hotel (if you can call it that) was the girls that work at the front desk. They are always friendly, they always have a smile on their faces and they are always willing to help if they are able. It’s not their fault it’s an old property. They were all a delight. The room activated our allergies from what we believe is probably mold.
