We booked and paid online, but upon check-in, we were unexpectedly asked to provide a $250 deposit — something we’ve never encountered before. Typically, deposits are only $100 in our experience.
Additionally, we felt misled by the listing, which advertised that the property had a pool. There was even a photo of it. However, when we asked the front desk, we were told outright that there was no pool, with no explanation provided.
We chose this hotel specifically to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, as she wanted to go swimming. Because of the misleading advertisement, we had to leave and check into another hotel with a pool instead. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience — a complete waste of money.
To make matters worse, the bathroom in our room was not functioning properly. We requested to be moved to another room, but instead of accommodating our request, they simply sent maintenance staff. This was highly inconvenient for us. Although the issue was temporarily resolved, the bathroom began acting up again shortly afterward.
Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and we will not be returning.
