The staff did not tell us there was no elevator whe. We got there. Wasnt very helpful. Staff at check out had ear buds in and was rocking out while i was trying to check out. Didnt offer me a receipt or anything.

The exterior property is beautiful and the view of the mountains is lovely. Our room was spacious and very clean. To be totally honest, there were some issues. The bed pillows had to be old because there was an unpleasant odor coming from all of them. We had two queen beds with 3 pillows on each bed and honestly, every one of these pillows smelled old and really unpleasant. I did not sleep with any of them. They need to replace those pillows.

The front desk clerk was new and needed more training. I had to change rooms as the TV did not work in my original room. The room was quiet which was great.

There is no elevator, I asked for a 1st floor room because we had over 130 lb. of luggage, I was told my room was already assigned. The desk clerk was very short with her answer. Three older ladies were ahead of me checking in, same issue. This was my last attempt to use a LaQinta and they have failed. This hotel also had a blocked exit it a stairwell, two blocked open firedoors. A firedoor can only be held open with a magnetic doors release, this closes the door when an alarm is activated. This has been a long standing fire code. I'm a retired fighter.

Everything was almost great but there was no plug for the bath tub - which is one specific reason that I booked with Wyndham. When I asked the front desk about getting a plug I was told “jus use a rag to plug it” and that seemed pretty gross to me - so I went to the local dollar store and purchased a plug myself. The only other issues I had was the water in the shower/bath was warm at best - no amount of waiting produced HOT water which defeated the purpose of being able to have a bath or a nice shower. Quick in and out because no one likes a mildly warm water to wash. Breakfast was alright - waffles were good and the coffee was decent. Not much fruit except apples and a banana if you were early enough to snag one. Bagels were stale and no amount of toasting them helped. All the issues we had made for the almost great stay as the reason I booked the hotel was one, to enjoy a hot bath that was child free after walking around all day, and two, a good breakfast was could have been made a little bit better with some more options of fruit (strawberries and blueberries maybe) and fresher baked goods.

Room floor was obviously not clean, popcorn kernels on the floor, empty tissue box, hallways and stairs, dirty, the TV did not have streaming, the keys kept not working. We had to go the front desk, at least 10 times to get them re-coded, overall not worth the money we paid.
