We had a wonderful stay at Tailormade Hotel Rüden in Schaffhausen. The front desk staff were exceptional. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was world-class, with an impressive selection and outstanding quality. If you think the eggs or fruit look a bit light the single cook will eventually come out with a saucepan or tray full of freshly cooked and cut goodies. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The historic character of the building makes the stay feel special, while the updated amenities ensure everything is comfortable and convenient. A truly memorable hotel that we would gladly recommend and stay at again. 10 out of 10.

Wonderful and cozy. I had forgotten my documents in the train and the Hotel staff helped to me to retrieve them by helping me guiding us. I am very greateful to the attention, the affection and concern.

Excellent

It's not happy at first because the website said can add bed, means can be one more person to stay. Actually we have 3 people, 2 adults and 1 teens and the hotel website haven't family room or 3 people room to book, so I booked a room for 2. But when we arrived, receptionist said the room for us was too small, asked us to add 500 swiss Franc more for 2 nights to upgards the room. No choice because already paid online. But when we saw the room, it's big, clean and tidy. Beds comforable, we love the bathroom so much, it decorated by wood. Breakfast was good, the waiter always has a big smile, very polite and very nice. Only problem is they will not refill the food. Receptist always greeting to you.

Charming stay

It was a wonderful and charming hotel. The room was clean, the breakfast yummy, and the location can not be beat. The only problem was the motion sensor night light that lit up our whole room every time someone moved. We put a blanket over it but since it was built into the step into the bathroom it made it a bit tricky for anyone to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. For our family, we were all so tired it didn’t matter.
Our family room. Parent’s bed to the left, out of the shot.

A recommander sinon.

We were there in mid-Aug when temperatures were very high, and unfortunately our third floor room was stifling hot even with their rotating fan. We weren’t able to sleep that night. Wish they had a small portable A/C. Otherwise the rest of the stay was great.
