Unhappy!

Dusty room. Noisy a/c . Curtain has damage . We checked in at their Kiosk at the lobby . We were communicating with a person ( video) of their call center outside USA . Today my bank notified me that the deposit were charged DOUBLE !! I booked with balcony with view of the mountains as shown on the photo, they put us in the room that the view was the street! Not the mountains!

Not that bad as they say

This is a typical outdated American hotel, but many strongly negative opinions occurred to be exaggerated. While there is a strange kiosk for e-check-in, we were welcomed by a friendly alive human being at the reception desk. The room was spacy and clean. The bed comfortable and large. The tube was in poor condition, but good enough to have a shower. The view from the restaurant is stunning. The breakfast consisted in typical American junk food: too dry scrambled eggs, waffles with few toppings, extremely sweet juices, milk etc. The restaurant was advertised as serving healthy breakfast, because their offered one apple per customer. No vegetables were spotted. Everything was served using paper/plastic in order to produce enormous amounts of garbage every day. Overall, acceptable place for a couple of nights.

Worst Hotel Experience

The room was not clean; dirty towels, clogged sink, hair on the bathroom floor, hair and sludge in the tub drain. The shower curtain rod was broken and held up by a toilet paper holder. The fridge was broken, the phone in the room didn't work, and the tv remote was dead. There was no staff or management available at the property in the evening to address my issues. I was told, from the checkin Kiosk that a manager would be in before 8am the next morning. The next morning I asked for the manager, I was told I had to wait until after 2pm for the manager. The morning staff sent maintenance to fix the issues I informed them about and someone to clean the room. They fixed the shower rod, unclogged the sink drain, cleaned out the tub drain, and replaced towels but, they left the hair on the floor, the fridge and phone were still broke. The staff also left the door open to my room with all my personal items. Luckily, nothing was taken. The manager talked with me about the issues, apologized, and moved me to a new room that had no phone, no clock, wires sticking out of the wall, and torn curtains. I informed the manager of the issues right away with the new room. He said he would get the wires covered up and have a phone and clock brought to the room. The manager never did and left for the night with no staff at the property. My compensation for all the issues, besides getting moved into a new room, $30 back. I will never stay at a Quality Inn again. Especially the one in Page, AZ.
Hair on the floor in the corners and around the toilet.
Drain clogged with hair and sludge. The faucet was leaking a lot in the tub and tightening the handles did not stop the water from leaking.

How the shower curtain rod was being held up. The curtain rod shifted down towards me when I barely moved the shower curtains.

Crack architectural

Very odd hotel the architect was on crack no elevator had to carry luggage up and down stairs. Room was bizarre at best. Tv didn’t work fridge was so loud I had to unplug it so I could sleep. Some Reno’s have been done but done by an amateur paint all over the place including the tub. Overall would not stay again.

Sorely disappointed

My husband & i felt the place was quite run down… water would not turn off completely In the tub/shower, the toilet had issues flushing & any improvements that had been attempted were poorly done. The refrigerator never cooled down after we messed with the temp controls so we lost the food we had with us. Being greeted at check in by a person on a computer screen was surprising & he was difficult to understand because the computer kept cutting out! The advertisement that it had a view of Lake Powell was a big stretch!

Disgusting and Disappointed

This place was absolutely disgusting. No one was at the front desk, so I had to check in by kiosk. Then I couldn't find the room because I had no one to ask. Finally, I found it, but once I got into the room, it smelled like an old hotel in Vegas, with stale cigarette smoke. The carpet was crunchy and hard, and the curtains to the patio were old and tattered. The tub appeared to have not been cleaned in years, there was a ring around it. I took pics and was chatting with hotels.com rep but they only saved in the chat. We immediately left the hotel and found another one close by. I told them what I had just went through and the front desk clerk said they get it all the time with people coming to their hotel after seeing the rooms there. I get that it was a lower budget hotel and you get what you pay for, but I wasn't expecting this at all. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. It could be a great hotel because of the views but it really needs a renovation and extreme cleaning.
