Room on the small side but ideal for me a solo traveller and comfortably appointed but a lack of storage space for clothes if staying for several days. Location of hotel is ok but you have to walk some distance to find a decent bar or restaurant in the local area( the one in the hotel is fine for a light meal or snack)

Reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable with good a/c and roomy shower. Nice to have water in the room replenished daily, but there is no fridge. Breakfast good, with hot options to order. Only downside is the somewhat run-down area immediately around the hotel. There are no local restaurants and bars. The uphill walk home from downtown or the Old Town at night can be daunting. But overall a lovely hotel and good value.

We enjoyed a three night stay at the Voco. The hotel itself is modern, clean and of a good standard. Staff were friendly and everything seemed fairly new and well maintained. We didn't make use of the breakfast facilities or bar so can't really comment but they looked quite inviting. The room was a good size for two with a spacious, comfortable bed. As a light sleeper I really appreciated how quiet it was. There was no noise from outside the hotel at all. The only down side was the neighbourhood which was really quite sketchy. The main route from the hotel to the old town runs through a district called San Francisco which is should be avoided at night.

Very nice hotel - clean, new, modern decor and staff are very friendly and fluent in English. Rooms are spacious and furnishing is new and well maintained. Lobby area is great for work, comfort and relaxing. Hotel is not in the centre, but a short 5-10 minute walk which is a good thing as there is often parking available outside the hotel and there is an underground parking lot 1 minute down the road. Overall a great hotel to stay at in Bilbao. Good experience, comfortable stay.
