Ramada Inn Columbus MS is now closed

Absolutely excellent. We had the entire third floor to ourselves. Another chap had the fourth floor. Absolutely first class. Would not recommend it. It is closed.

We were attending a football game at Univ of MS. We arrived early but couldn't check in as the rooms weren't ready. We confirmed our reservation was in their system and were advised to check in after the game ended, which we did. It worked out as planned. The place was nicer than expected based on the low price of the room. It was located at an exit and it was convenient to drive to the campus.

Very Happy!

When walking into the hotel you can tell this is an older hotel, but that does NOT take away from the quality! This is a VERY CLEAN and COMFORTABLE hotel! Everything is extremely well kept, and the service is exceptional! We stayed here for a Mississippi State home football game, and went ahead and booked every home game for the entire season. I'm a Hilton Honors member and stayed at the new Hampton Inn in Columbus last year, and quite honestly it is not as nice, comfortable or reasonable as this one.

I guess this hotel was okay for the price considering everything else in town was booked due to college graduation weekend. However cleanliness was an issue. The carpet in the room was sticky feeling to your bare feet, and I counted 6-7 hairs stuck to the shower walls upon getting in the shower for the first time.
