This was my third time staying at Hotel Fontana and it is my absolute FAVORITE hotel in Rome. Breakfast is delicious, the beds are comfortable and it is directly in front of the Trevi Fountain, making it the perfect central point in Rome. Every single person that works there is so kind, especially Maria upstairs. We will continue to come back to this hotel every time we stay in Rome! Don't forget to order a Limoncello Spritz from the bar upstairs!

Excellent hotel directly in front of Trevi Fountain. Rooms were typical small european. An adjustment if you are from the US. Air conditioned, elevator and an Excellent staff. The staff is what puts this hotel above others. From the front desk to the maids, every interaction with staff was Excellent. It's obvious they care about their guests and is reflected in the service I recieved. Would definitely go back.

The location was excellent, right in from of the Trevi fountain but just know what you are getting. Location was loud, we Heard people all through the night until the morning. Be prepared for the location to be loud 24/7. The staff was NOT friendly. Asked for change, extra water the the staff blew us off.

Boutique hotel in an older building. Nice big room with new and clean bathroom. Staff very helpful. Breakfast spread was very good as was the service. Aperitivo overlooking the fountain was generous - prices comparable to high end places nearby. Location in front of Trevi fountain very convenient with amazing views but that comes with crowds and noise so not for you if you are looking for peace and quiet ( but this is Rome in July!) They were very helpful in arranging a taxi (legit with sign and all) to the airport- the usual rate is 55 Euros; we were told 60 ( and agreed) but at the airport the driver demanded 65 E. This is nothing to do with the hotel but beware.
