We had a great stay. The rooms were very nice and the facility was great. Everything was excellent, except i wish it had a drink and/or snack machine. Other than that it was a great stay!

It was a very cheap stay, but you get what you pay for. The room had a bad smell. Some of the pillow sheets were dirty. There was long back hair stuck on the fridge door. The bathroom door had a hole in it. The carpet on the hallway was coming apart and had not been cleaned in years. The lady at the reception was nice, and you can walk to the beach in minutes.

We loved it!

Excellent place & excellent value for money. We went in early June for 3 nights and we had a large renovated room very clean and the employees were very friendly and accommodating. We lacked nothing! The place is well located, next to the beach and near downtown Myrtle Beach. We'll go back for sure, it’s worth it!

Elevator & hallway could use some updating. The rooms were decent and have been renovated. Bedding and linens were clean & free of stains. It’s an older building but decent for the price. Only has a small indoor pool but it wasn’t open for our stay. We loved the oceanfront balcony.

Was not super crowded like most of the other hotels, it was actually the CLEANEST room i’ve stayed in down here. The staff was very welcoming. I stayed at 3 other “Big” hotels before South Sea & got the best sleep here. There isn’t yelling & noise all night like most BIG hotels. Very relaxing. Also, it’s the closest building to the actual ocean, the view was unbeatable. It was quite, there wasn’t hundreds of people on the beach outside of the building as they go down further. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay, the inside is incredibly nice. Will stay here anytime I come down
