The cutest and unique bed and breakfast. The owners were extremely nice and served nice breakfast. Rooms are fun, comfortable and unique. Loved all the antiques.

Valentines Day

This is an amazing property. I hope everyone stays away 😉. I usually use points accumulated from businesses travel so my wife and I stay in nice places but it’s rarely anything special. This year I surprised her with this spot. The Big Yellow Inn. The look on her face was priceless and the entire property is amazing.

We had a fantastic stay. We stayed in the lower level of the inn and it was very quiet. I liked having access to a small kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast each morning was delicious! The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a stay at a Bed & Breakfast as much as I did this one! I would find a reason to go to Cedar City just to stay here. It was SOOO much fun here. It’s only 20-25 years old but it looks like it’s been there forever. Every room has a different theme with LOTS of vintage decor to support it. Meeting up with other people staying there for breakfast was so enjoyable. My only little issue was the basement level can be a little bit noisy. But that wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. The owners, Barbara said Scott are the most lovely people who have curated the most wonderful place to stay.

Hosts very friendly. Hotel was comfortable and inviting, a feast for the eyes everywhere you looked. Homemade breakfast was very tasty. Will stay here every time we pass through.

I don't normally write reviews but this place is worth mentioning. The house has been completely renovated and the work is quality. Each room has a theme which makes for a fun stay. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever experienced. If ever going through Cedar City you must stop and stay at the Big Yellow Inn.

Dusty and unclean.

Many reviews rave about this place, including cleanliness. This was not our experience. There are items and trinkets in nearly every spot, nook, and cranny that you can fit them. The owners are going for a "museum" feel; however, the end result feels like clutter and everything gathers dust. The nightsand or dresser you use may be dusted, but the tops of picture frames, trinkets, and our air vent in the Mediterranean room was coated with dust. My husband and I had headaches and sinus issues anytime we were in the room. The balcony is not private, as advertised; it is split between the next room with planters and a half- wall. There was a spot of something crusty on our nightsand that could come off when scraped. The doily in the bathroom is discolored. The bathmat is discolored. There was a urine odor to the bathroom. There was a spot of what looked like dried yogurt on the couch in the sitting room by the front door of the house. We found ourselves trying to spend as much time out of the place as we could. It was uncomfortable - the opposite of what you look for in a B&B. Will not be staying here again under current management.

Nicely decorated with memorabilia. Every room is unique. The owners are delightful. Within walking distance of the Shakespeare theaters and the SUU campus. Very convenient parking. Ample and tasty breakfast as well. It is a great choice.
