Misleading Renovation Info & Disappointing Room Quality
I called ahead before booking and was told the hotel had finished renovations. That turned out not to be true. When we arrived, it was clear that construction was still ongoing.
I also specifically requested a quiet room, but we were placed on the first floor in a room that didn’t feel clean, looked worn out, and had a chalky, stale smell—almost like it had been used by workers during the renovation. To make matters worse, there was a loud party happening down the hall. Since we were only staying a couple of days and I wasn’t confident the next room would be any better, I didn’t ask to be moved.
The one positive was the staff — they were very friendly, and I had no issues with them at all.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially after being told the hotel was fully renovated.
