Great hotel, lots of amenities, great location on the river and close to Yosemite NP. Great rooms overlooking the river. Good pools and onsite restaurants. Definitely stay again.

This hotel was worth the price for the location alone! Our access to Yosemite was amazing! The room was clean and we were able to get the extra linens we requested. There is a store in the main lobby that has souvenirs and food staples. We did not use any amenities as we spent all of our time at Yosemite. Based on the needs of our family, our room was near the road (which was not a problem at all) but I would highly recommend booking a river view room if you can for the beautiful view!

The location is beautiful. There are some things to know before booking. There is a lot of construction on property, only 2 pools with hot tubs are open, and the room we stayed in is older and the air conditioning unit was very loud.

Good airconditioning, amazing spot if you book the riverside view of Merced river. Clean room and a variety of amenities. However breakfast was expensive and had little options and dinner was packed.

Great location if not staying in the park. Large room. Nice to have small kitchen area. After a long day of hiking it was nice to be able to relax on the balcony and listen to the river.

This is right on the Merced! And it has 2 restaurants on the property as well as multiple pools and hot tubs. We did have ants when we checked into the room but they immediately sent someone to spray and vacuum. We also had a hole in the screen so bugs came in when we tried to leave it open for the wonderful white noise. They sent someone right away and fixed that too! Beautiful spot, close to the park, excellent place to stay!

This is our favorite place to stay when visiting Yosemite, it’s literally less than 10 minutes away from the Arch Rock entrance booth. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Merced river and the gorgeous mountains. The room has a kitchenette which comes in handy for a quick breakfast before heading to Yosemite. The location has a pizza place (delicious) and a riverfront restaurant also a general store/gift shop next to the front desk, very handy. I highly recommend this place.

Gorgeous location overlooking the Merced River. Short drive to the valley. Restaurants California pricey and food was average. Good on-site store for necessities. Rooms were clean and quiet. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Merced River from the second floor. Peaceful and great for late afternoon 'happy hour'!

Rooms were clean. Had plenty of pools and hot tubs, game room was nice as it was raining on of our days. The outdoor sitting area was nice had an onsite laundry room. Didn't try the restaurants but they do have a little conscience store for some basic items. Overall I would stay here again.

Our 2 queen room with a balcony facing the river was great. Very comfortable for 2 grandmas traveling with 2 teens. We stayed there and took the YARTS bus on Hwy 140 into Yosemite Valley for one day that was so convenient - instead of driving, fighting crowds & trying to find parking. We had excellent dinners - one night we got pizza and took it to a table by the river, and the other night ate at the restaurant with a table by the river. It was hot so the a/c was needed, and we enjoyed the pool along with other happy families.

8/10 Very good

It was ok here, location is convenient but we were on 3rd floor with broken lifts so that wasn’t great getting luggage up there. We were excited to do s’mores at night as advertised etc but there wasn’t much of an appetite for it from staff and so we avoided it. It’s not as picture perfect as advertised, quite average motel feel to it. Rooms were spacious though. Restaurant not great and overpriced for it.

This hotel was pretty run down for how much we paid. Everything was average at best with the exception of the location along the river. It was a unique experience. You must check out the cigarette card room adjoined to the lobby. The restaurant was pretty bad. The shower ran hot and cold as you washed and there was some mold in there. We only stayed one night. It was a beautiful area, but almost everything about the hotel was outdated and quirky. It did create memories that will last for years and the setting and convenience was awesome. I wouldn’t spend $650 on a room here again.

Loved our room with balcony overlooking the river! The jetted tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. In room gas fireplace added to room ambiance. The hotel will light the communal fire pit if you ask & we had a memorable time making Smores. Pizza place on site was delicious! Hotel is located just outside of Yosemite park entrance. Location, location, location! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay, thank you!

4/10 Fair

Let’s start out with the positives. It’s super close to the west gate of Yosemite, the rushing water looking out the balcony was so pretty, the A/C worked great and the staff were nice and helpful. The cons it’s super outdated, there’s no elevator. The tub was clogged (my husband dug out a huge hair ball from the drain), we had hair (not ours) on our pillow and comforter and woke up to ants everywhere on the kitchenette. Needless to say we stayed one night of three and left to stay at another lodge.
