Start with a positive. The staff was nice and did their best. The room was a tragedy. Hairs on the bed when we checked in mold everywhere in the bathroom dirt just filth and the entire room smelled of old cigarette smoke that would not go away we even bought a can of Lysol and tried. It is clear no one cares about appearance. The floors were filthy in the room and the rugs throughout the hotel were stained and also disgusting. It doesn't cost much to at least clean a place even if you don't want to overhaul it. If you're thinking about staying there you've been warned.

We are happy to report that Super 8 has been updating its rooms and the stays here are comfortable. Although they discontinued the pretty good breakfast that they used to provide without prior notice, the value is still good given the cost of other comparable hotels. We will likely stay there next time we are in the area.

Parking area and lobby were in good condition and safe. Rooms were ok, you get what you pay for. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet, all except the slamming of other people's doors early in the morning, that you get from any hotel. There was no breakfast, but a great restaurant right around the corner. Our tub was a little dirty, and the bathroom could use some upgrades, but other than that, all was good.

We did not have conditioner in our room just shampoo, and sometimes when coming inside to head to our room it smelt like cigarettes/weed. Our door dead bolt lock was broken so we only had the door lock on the handle part to lock. Other than that the stay wasn’t bad.

We had to switch rooms 3 times due to problems. The first room had 2 neighboring rooms that needed their smoke detector batteries changed, and the once per minute beeps (which they said they couldn’t do anything about until the next morning) were going to keep us up all night. They finally got that to stop, but there was no hot water. so we moved to a room where the heater sounded like a leaf blower. The next room had a tv that didn’t work. Finally, we got a room that functioned, although the toilet ran unless we took the tank lid off and positioned the flapper. The room was otherwise fine, and the wifi was good. But our neighbors (who live in the hotel) smoked a lot of pot, which stank up the place. Many people are living at this hotel. Also, the free continental breakfast has been discontinued. They offered free breakfast across the street at their sister hotel, but that was not convenient. That all being said, the staff was helpful and the room was clean. It just needs a major upgrade, and maybe keep the residents in a separate wing from the hotel guests.

This was one of the worst hotels that I've ever stayed at. There were hand drawn crosses with some kind of oil on the windows and headboards. The floor was so sticky your shoes stuck, there were bugs on the bathroom floor and some kind of disgusting smears on all of the walls. There was coffee from a machine but no cream or half n half. No food available either. Place looked empty and they would not let us check in early. Would never come here again and would not recommend.

The staff was helpful. We reserved two rooms. One reserved room took four tries to get a clean room. The other room took two tries to get acceptable. The first room was extremely dirty-sheets all over the place and whatever else the previous customer left. The heat in the second (replacement) room didn’t work. The third room wasn’t cleaned from the previous customers. The staff finally found a clean acceptable room on the 4th try. The second room was not sufficiently cleaned but the second try was barely acceptable. The smoke detector was hanging by wires and other minor stuff. When we returned in the evening, the key card didn’t work. The staff was very helpful.

The property was surprisingly sprawling and gigantic. It's two levels, but there are no elevators. The front desk attendant offered clear instructions on finding the closest outside entrance to our room (all outside entrances are labeled with a letter and securely locked with room key access). The property was clearly old and not well-maintained. Broken screens, chips and holes in the walls, scratches on doors, etc. However, the guest room had been recently updated. The beds were clean and comfortable. The TV in our room did not work - it was stuck on a frozen screen and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off (the remote didn't work and the back of the TV was greasy to the touch, which was very unpleasant). So, the TV was a nightlight. There are many other places to stay nearby and I would do more research if I were staying in the area again. I would not book this place unless I had no other choice.
