Absolutely great property and an amazing experience. Service was top notch. Only areas of improvement are the alcoholic drinks were extremely watered down and the hot water in the rooms (shower) was pretty nonexistent. Overall I would highly recommend the property

Not the worst, but not great

This place is honestly ridiculous. There are very few places to eat, and the hours listed on the app are completely inaccurate. We tried to get breakfast at a spot that claimed to serve à la carte breakfast, only to be told in person that they were only serving lunch. While everything is within walking distance, the lack of dining options is incredibly frustrating. The food overall is mediocre at best. The buffet is subpar whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The only decent meal we had was at the Driftwood restaurant near the seaside swim-ups. Our swim-up pool was fairly dirty, and we didn’t even get to enjoy it. Of course, the beach in Mexico is always beautiful, which was one of the few highlights. The staff at the resort are friendly and helpful, but there’s a serious lack of communication about what’s open, what’s available, and what events are happening. For a resort that markets itself as a luxury experience, the disorganization and lack of transparency were really disappointing. The staff deserves a five star rating though.

Loved the different properties and the ability to use both. I think the various bars and activities were pretty fun. Staff were great. Beaches were both great. Fun to snorkle and good to just relax on the beach. Pool is cool. I do think something needs to be done about the waits at the restaurants. Maybe more restaurants are needed? Or reservations are needed at all of them? Not sure but the wait was a pain at times and only being able to get a 9:00 reservation is not ideal either.

This a beautiful well kept property. The level of service from the staff is exceptional. The food overall was pretty good with a few exceptions. My experience at the Mexican and Mediterranean restaurants were not great. The other a la cartes were quite good. I found the buffets to be small with limited variety. The beach bbq and pool restaurants were quite good. Found it bizarre that there were no steps at the main pool Palms side. Just a handrail with feet that made getting out of the pool fun. There many chairs and bali beds around the property making it easy to find somewhere to hang out. There is no theatre or stage for evening shows ir productions. There are activities at the main beach bar but seating can be lacking. All in all a great resort...

This is our second time staying at Seaside Suites. We still had an excellent time but I was disappointed in how downhill the place had gotten. Some areas were being repaired but you could see where the property needed to be fixed up. Dinner was difficult to make reservations as most restaurants were already booked through the week, leaving us with minimal options. Swim out suite was amazing. We booked the honeymoon suite so we were on the top floor. Highly recommend because there is do much more included in the stay like the candlelight dinner which was my favorite meal. Spa was nice too. Hydrotherapy was relaxing and the massage on the beach was amazing. Overall a good experience even with the minor issues. I would still recommend as a great place to stay.

The property is beautiful and the staff are amazing! However, it is a large property and golf carts come around rarely and were often already full so we found ourselves walking ALOT! This is actually 3 properties in one and the property we stayed at has no food service after 5pm so we had to walk a long distance to any of the available dining. It is hard to get a reservation for the 2 restaurants that take reservations. The one night we did get into a reserved restaurant, it was almost empty!! All the other restaurants were first come, first serve and even the buffet restaurants frequently had an hour or more wait. Overall, the food was mediocre except for the beach barbecue for the fire show was outstanding, delicious! We asked several times for refills to our mini bar refrigerator in our room that were not honored. And if you like to drink liquor, there is none in your mini bar, Beer only. The beer was warm when they stocked it and there was never a consistant brand as if all the beer they had available was all the same (I assure it was not!). There was lots of confusion as to which hotel lobby we were getting picked up for excursions. The first excursion we were at the top lobby and they were at the bottom, they did come pick us up where we were. The second excursion we were at the bottom lobby and they picked us up there, no problem. The 3rd excursion we were at the bottom lobby and they went to the top and by the time we got a golf cart to the top lobby, they had left us

The El Dorado Seaside was a large resort that felt cozy and small. The grounds and beach are beautiful! The dining was great with so many options. Very easy to get some great food and drinks at anytime. Our server, Manuel (Luis) in the buffet was a highlight for us. He always made us feel at home and was quick to bring me a “Mexican Water” 😉 Thanks Manuel for making our stay even more enjoyable! I would recommend Seaside to any couple or group looking for a beautiful, relaxing and easy going trip in paradise!

Loved their food. For an all inclusive resort, the food was amazing! Best tacos I’ve had in my life!! Room and property was clean. Beach was amazing and the staff was super friendly. Only downside is the Japanese and Italian restaurants are hard to get into and we unfortunately did not get into the Italian restaurant. Talking to regulars there, they said those two restaurants have seats held for members which causes it to fill up quicker for non members like us.
