Enjoyed our stay very much! The seaside suites has a very party like atmosphere with lots of loud music and noisy activities at the main pool from 1::00-4:30 If you this isn’t for you, , consider the palms side of the resort. Everything else was just great!!!!

I had an amazing stay at this resort. The food was great at all the restaurants. Enjoyed the Italian restaurant so ate there twice! I migrated down to the palms side to enjoy the nicer beach area for majority of my stay. All the staff are amazing. The Lomus hospitality excursions were fantastic! Would definitely recommend and would go back!

We went here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The staff are extremely friendly, and the food is wonderful. We felt right at home. The location is stunning!

Most of the reviews are not real after spending 10 days in the resort here is our experience. 1. No nightlife after 10 PM 2. There are no beaches the beaches that are there are full of rocks and there’s a stone retaining wall obstructing you from walking into the water. There is one side of the resort that you can walk in maybe up to the height of your knees. That area is also full of rocks. This is why they have swimming pools. 3. The food is decent. 4. Zero hot water during peak times lukewarm at best. They need to fix this. When you’re paying this much money for the resort and you want to get dressed up to go out to dinner a hot shower would be most appreciated. 5. Do not leave the resort you will most likely be stopped by the police who will shake you down like us. We did not have a license after renting vehicle and it cost us nearly $300 rather than take a chance of being arrested, which is what we were threatened We did this so we could go to Playa Del Carmen because we were completely bored at the resort. 6. We also wanted to find beautiful beach to relax in this resort is not it.

Staff was wonderful. Beach great. Food not so great. My partner is a chef and time and time again they come close to food being good but fall just a little short. Be mindful that the resort does not offer free shuttle service from Tulum airport. We ended up paying at extra $300 US to get to and from the airport.

We really enjoyed our stay there. A little mixup with our concierge writing down our dinner reservation on a wrong night but overall a great experience. Staff were very friendly at every spot! The building itself is showing some wear but the grounds were impressive.

We spent a week at El Dorado Seaside Suites. Our room was alright, but noticed wear & tear on furniture & walls. We could hear the tv shows being watched in other rooms. We didn’t spend much time in the room. There’s only 1 restaurant on that side, so we had to walk/ride a shuttle for other meals. If we ever come back to this resort, we would stay on the Palms side. Our side was very loud with music, pool, party activities. We like a more laid back vibe and the Palms side is gorgeous, plus a lot more restaurants & bars. The outdoor pools are pretty but very cold. The activities offered were fun. Especially enjoyed the Tequila class and pottery painting. Beach was amazing. Bali beds comfortable. Evening entertainment was great! The gardens and pathways are romantic, especially at night. The catamaran & cenote experiences were exciting! The luncheon was delicious too. The resort is about an hour and 15 minutes from the Cancun airport. We appreciated the transportation included. Bring cash to tip your drivers, wait staff, concierge etc. The staff are courteous and helpful. We felt safe at this resort.

Beautiful resort and great food. However service is why im rating so low. I traveled solo and I'm a woman; I was ignored/overlooked at the bars because they thought i was waiting for someone (I waited almost 10 minutes before I was serviced). I was not told that the resort had an app till I went to the concierge asking how can I know when the restaurants open and close (this was my 2nd day). The tub was very confusing no faucets or signs so someone had to vome show me but she didn't know either so the handyman had to tell her to tell me. I went to the seaside market and was faced away from the buffet also i wasnt told it was a buffet so I sat there for over 10 minutes waiting for someone only for the drink waiter to tell me its a buffet. Also, I constantly had my do not disturb sign up but housekeeping came anyways; and they turned my air on 68 degrees (took forever to get my room back warm). Also do expect to be able to do the "included" activities plus the resort didn't have many activities to do if you stay (nor did they describe tge activities). Overall beautiful place and room, delicious food but service and activities lack majorly so I'd never go back as a solo traveler. I could've picked a cheaper hotel and spent the extra money on being able to do activities if I wouldve known.

Mis-lead to thank the room had double beds

I liked had booked this room early and asked for two twin beds since I was traveling with another girlfriend . We were told to ask when we got there and I saw two beds on the website when I booked . I check in and we were told they did not have two twin beds and resort was catered for couples . I wish that was told to me before I booked . They sent up a twin cart which was not what we had expected so we moved this bed that was outside and out the mattress on it to make it work for us . We were very disappointed at the room but we did not let it spoil the trip.
