Great value and great location

The location is excellent, great value for money, the staff are super helpful and friendly. Stayed here a few times and great if you’re going out for a few drinks, or staying a short weekend.

Sad dirty hotel.

Felt ichy after sleeping in there beds. No hot breakfast. Continental breakfast was rubbish for the stay of the hotel. Just a scruffy hotel. STAY AWAY. NEVER again!

Good Shout

Family of 4 in two rooms. Lovely and beautiful building, extremely friendly, warm and accommodating staff, comfortable beds, fantastic views of the North Pier. Only very slight let down was that, housekeeping could have been a little better house kept. vacuuming in the rooms, but overall I would highly recommend when the pricing is appropriate.

Good hotel, would stay again

I stayed at this hotel for two nights with my son. On arrival we took the stairs and they weren’t in great condition, so our initial impression wasn’t good. We checked in early no problem however the first room we were allocated didn’t have a sea view so I requested to be moved, the lovely lady on reception changed the room for us and it was perfect, she was kind and helpful, all of the staff I spoke with were friendly and accommodating, Apart from the stairs which is out of the staffs control we had a good experience at this hotel and will stay again

Great location.

Only stayed for 1 night. Reception staff very friendly. Room had everything we needed for 1 night, bed, shower, and kettle for morning brew. Bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but that's just personal choice, other people might like a hard mattress. Would stay again. Great location.

Dirty

Unfortunately, our first room smelled like someone has smoked 40 a day in there for at least a year. Second room was much better however the bathroom was filthy, the water in the shower wouldnt drain and stains up the walls and on the doors. The corridor carpets needed a good clean too. I dont mind cheaper hotels, but there is no excuse for dirty rooms/corridors. However, staff were really good, helpful and friendly

Smelly drains

We checked into a standard double room. Mould in the shower, not very clean. Bathroom flooring was lifting, making a lump that could have been tripped over & the drains smell was terrible. I asked to be moved, was told there were no more rooms available in the hotel as the cleaner hadn't turned up that morning & just the rooms that were needed that night had been cleaned. Whilst we were out one of the reception staff used some drain cleaner which was better on our return.

Bed bugs.

Perfect location for us. Bed was nice size and comfy. No soap in bathroom, had to use the shower gel. Lift not working, air conditioning unit not working, although we did not require either of these other people might do. Thought it was ok for a one night stay until the morning when we realised we had been sharing our room with bed bugs. Will not be staying here again.

Very convenient location, and easy to check in and out. Sadly the room was very cold, there were two fan heaters left for us but only 2 plug sockets - so once they were plugged in we had no other access to an electricity source. One window wouldn’t close fully so you could hear everything from the street.

good location... room was nice and clean... the place feels like a Hostel and not a Hotel... the breakfast is very expensive £10 (which i did not have) as there is a Pound Bakery just around the corner and offers better value... the bar/eating area within the Hotel is like a student union... I asked about recycling some plastic bottles I had and was told there was no recycling facilities... very poor!
