Before using hotels.com app, I was another app user that used this hotel specifically and only. I could have stayed in Vegas but chose to go on home to Phoenix. Pulling into kingman, I discovered how tired I really was and decided to stay in town. Using the app, there were plenty of options for kingman, however, I chose to go to my usual because I know what to expect and it was worth it to pay a lil extra for some things. The hotel staff was nice enough, the lobby, hallways and the room was clean. Before settling for the night, was gonna run out to get some ice for a drink only to find that the 3rd floor ice machine was broken. Only the first floor machine worked according to the clerk so I just stayed in my room preparing for bed. Slid into bed only to feel how incredibly uncomfortable and hard the mattress was! I think a piece of plywood and a comforter would have provided a better nights sleep! I woke up every 20-30 minutes with an arm numb, another time a leg & foot, on and on through out the loooong night! I should have driven the extra 3 hours on home to Phoenix! Or I could have chosen a different cheaper hotel. I chose the holiday inn express because they’ve become my “go to” place when I’m away from home and I always know what I’m gonna get and what to expect. This night though??? Absolutely horrible because of the awful mattress. I feel ripped off, I didn’t get much sleep at all. I do NOT recommend & refuse to stay here again even if it was free
