All pools are exquisite and the soothing vibes and opulent landscaping and grounds and spa set up with gorgeous nooks to simply be-is unsurpassed. There is no way not to be refreshed visiting this beautiful sacred spot and not leave feeling way better than you arrived. The hotel has been lovingly cultivated and updated with a serene, lush grounds in harmony with the surrounding desert l. A few details could use attention like blinds that don't work or a broken knob on a sauna for months or lack of towels on one visit requiring a visit to the office. But these are all minor details compared with the great gift that this place offers a true healing halcyon of the incredible healing springs on the middle of the desert. I love that there are no TVs and it's very quiet and peaceful at all times and the breakfast is healthy and coffee is great most rooms have little kitchens so you did not leave. Although if you do go out, in town is a really nice addition to the otherwise rather desolate Desert Hot Springs. Palm Springs is 20 minutes or so and Joshua tree is not far either. We love hiking in the Morongo preserve which is not too far. owners really care and you can feel that.
