Why would you ask me this? They canceled an hour prior to arrival yet your system still shows it as active and the kicker is Homewood suites charged me 200 for absolutely nothing but a ruined weekend

Experience overall okay

The overall stay wasn’t that bad it did take a while for me to receive extra towels as requested. Also, the bathroom smelled like mildew so I bought some products just to make the smell go away. Another thing that I was surprised at is when I opened up the microwave there was still food left in it from maybe a previous customer and the silverware in the dishwasher was still dirty. Staff was very friendly and did ask via text about your stay and experience but I think as far as the extra towels it was so busy they forgot so we had to ask again from another employee 3-4 hrs later.

The pool area was great. The water and area was clean. Our room was ready 2 hours late. Ice machines didn't work, key didn't work part of time, breakfast was not served so sent next door to Hilton Garden Inn-wanted us to pay 20.00 each for breakfast-NO, we were disappointed. Staff was nice, but there weren't enough people to serve, clean and check in/out. Disappointed especially since it was a new build so close to home for a birthday get together with kids from here and out of town.

Room not ready at check in, room not stocked and prepared for guests, coffee not filled in lobby in AM, fire alarm in the middle of night, breakfast 1/2 late day 1 and canceled day 2, no manager on site, no maintenance on site, huge noisy destructive groups. Restaurant-terrible food, unfriendly staff and very expensive. Hotel very overpriced for quality and service.

The good. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was quiet despite being full. The bad. Guy at desk shoved a sign at me and told me to read when I was inquiring about why they needed my card when it was already paid in full ($50 hold on card per night for incidentals). You need your key card for everything. Elevator, breakfast, even ice. Broken glass in multiple parking spots indicates cars get broken into often. Would not stay here again.

Dirty and unsafe

My room had not been cleaned from the previous guest. When I called to let them know someone came to empty the trash but I was told my room could not be cleaned as no one was there to clean the room. Also, another guest was given the same room as me. I was in bed watching TV and a woman who had just checked in used her key card to enter my room. She had to go back to the desk and get a new room. My room had not been stocked or cleaned, and someone walking into your room while you are in bed doesn’t make me feel very safe. Un believable!

Upon arriving, the front desk was wonderful. The staff was very kind and polite our whole stay. However, our room had a broken pullout, the issue was resolved but the bed was left unusable. The pillows were terrible and we had to ask for more. We were not given enough towels and the pool was poorly stocked. We felt like we over paid for the experience we had.

Breakfast menu same as I’ve had for years, would love more variety. Also only 1 waffle iron for basically 2 large hotels, wait for a waffle too long. No towels at the pool in the morning. Someone should tell the clerk at the garden side a guest for the Homesuites can walk to the other lobby to register!

I booked about 3 weeks before and paid fully for my stay only to find out they had no room for me. I don't know why greed has led organizations to deceive people like this. I had a long international flight and got stranded although i did the right thing. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Bloody stay

My family and I arrived at the hotel around 3:30 PM. Upon entering our room and unloading our belongings, I noticed there was blood all over the room. I immediately called the front desk, but no one answered. When I went downstairs moments later, the receptionist assured me that someone would come to clean the room. Unfortunately, no one ever arrived. By 9:00 PM, I went back down to the front desk and was told that the room would be cleaned after we returned from dinner, and that we could not be moved because all rooms were booked. After returning from dinner around 10:30–11:00 PM, the room had still not been cleaned. At that point, we were told we would need to move to a different room. This was extremely difficult and inconvenient, especially since I have two autistic children. Once we moved into the new room, we discovered there was only one towel and one washcloth, and no dish soap. Despite multiple requests, additional towels and washcloths were not provided promptly. The next morning, we went down for breakfast around 9:40 AM. Due to my autistic child being overwhelmed by the crowd, I asked if we could grab a plate to take back to our room. A staff member told me this was perfectly fine. However, as we were collecting our food, a man began clearing the area and rudely stated, “It’s 10:00, breakfast is over, and you should have come down sooner.” This interaction was unprofessional and unpleasant. While I understand rules are rules, I had already confirmed with staff .

Very low staffed. I was present when staff told people their room was not cleaned and ready for them yet (at 9pm) and that housekeeping had left for the day! After they had the reservation for months. I'm not sure how rooms go uncleaned. There was bags of trash and towels in the hallways. The little staff that was there was kind but who would work there long term under those conditions. Disappointing customers. I expected more from a hotel with Hilton attached.

Room not serviced in entire 1 week stay, common areas such as room hallways were unclean with piles of garbage and dirty laundy piled in the hallway. As an observation it seems that the hotel was very short staffed. Room itself was nice on arrival. At least twice during my stay the TV came on with a full screen welcome message with another guests name.
