I stayed at this hotel recently and, unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations.
The room was dated and quite dusty, with clear signs it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival — there were dust balls on the floor, a dead bug on the cushion, and long hair on the floor and in the bidet. I even had to wipe down the toilet seat myself, which shouldn’t be necessary in any hotel.
The shower filled up with water every time I used it and had a noticeable drainage smell, which made it unpleasant to use. The air conditioning didn’t work, so the room was uncomfortably hot, and the walls were paper thin — I could hear the guest next door snoring, coughing, and even using the bathroom.
I reported the shower drainage and cleanliness issues to reception on arrival, who were polite but only offered a room change the evening of my last night, but by then I had evening plans and was checking out early the following morning, so it wasn’t practical. The hotel did waive the €12 tourist tax, which I appreciated, but overall the cleanliness and maintenance standards need significant improvement.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I hope this feedback encourages the management to address these issues so future guests have a better experience.
