Our stay at Bunker Bay was a beautiful bush setting which attracted us to stay. The studio room was spacious; kitchen well equipped for self catering. It is a large resort to walk around & staff are available to transport via a golf buggy if mobility is poor. Please note it is a 10km drive from Dunsborough into accommodation, however worth it.

Good location for exploring Margaret river region. Good quality hotel, service was very good at times. However during a busy morning breakfast period the service was poor and this issue was reported to staff. On this basis they kindly provided complimentary evening meal. I appreciated this. However the couple we were with complained about the quality of the meal. Bar these issues, overall a good 5 night stay

Property is lovely. Serene and very well maintained. The only disappointment was the room service. Took a long time for delivery and the pizza was substandard (the pizza had a chemical taste). The staff on reception were so welcoming and polite. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots of choices

Staff were fantastic, especially the breakfast staff. Property nice and quiet so relaxing. Negatives Black ants, should have been told about these. Have a sign in the kitchen area about leaving any type of food out, even not opened. Food was 6 out of 10. Could have use a small cloth hoist off the wall to hang wet towels and swim wear, instead of hanging of the chairs outside.

Premium price tag but basic service

Booked a romantic few days to end our trip to WA. Splashed out and treated ourselves to the Pullman and paid a bit extra of a premium experience. Alas it was basic and disappointing. 1. Accommodation - we had a studio apartment which had dated furnishings, kitchenette with crockery that had seen better days. And a fridge that didn’t fit in the allocated cupboard. Shower was temperamental with the hot and cold mix. 2. Dining - breakfast service staff are friendly if a little too enthusiastic - they pounce on you when you put an empty cup down or have an empty plate - makes you feel rushed and that they are eager for you to leave. Dinner was a massive disappointment. Pasta was bland. Fish was over cooked and service was lacklustre. Noted a few others had issues with food that evening. The host hovered over the tables too, which was off putting. 3. Pool - nice view but pool bar was closed then the pool was packed with people and the table service only offered food. 4. Spa - rang the spa on both full days we were there, a few times to book in a massage for us. No answer. Not impressed. All in all - it was a disappointment and not what I would have expected for a Pullman or the price tag. I’d save your money and go elsewhere to be frank.
