Poor cleanliness

At first glance our room seemed quite average. The cleanliness had something to be desired, especially in the bathroom, but the actual room seemed okay. Only later on did I notice the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling, not connected I can assume. The pillows were "clumpy" but useable. In the morning we were notified by the fire department (knocking on the doors) that we had to evacuate for health reasons. Upon questioning I was told bed bugs had been discovered on the 1st floor. We fortunately did not have that issue but spent our next night elsewhere.

The hotel is old & in need of repairs to walls, tiles etc. Sheets & toilet clean but could write your name in the dust on the headboards. Tub looked stained & dirty. We didn't take showers. All the faucets (tub& sink) had horrible hard water stains & need to be replaced. Just dingy & dirty looking. Breakfast was subpar & too many people wanting breakfast with not enough seating.

This place was absolutely disgusting. It's run by a family that runs it like their home - that means cleanliness is not a priority. Their kids were seen reaching into the guest breakfast items without gloves or tongs - worst experience I've had in a very very long time. Wyndham should pull their franchise. The entry and hallways and elevator were covered in dirt. We left a day earlier than planned it was so gross. And pretty sure their breakfast gave me some sort of a stomach issue for the next 24 hours!

My stay in Fulton

Our stay in Fulton was average. Walking into the hotel, we could tell that the rug/floor needed vacuuming. Check in was good enough. Our room appeared clean but the bathroom should have been a lot cleaner: the tub needs to be bleached and scrubbed, the shower curtain was dirty/moldy and the chrome was spotted. We took the stairs to leave and the stairwell is in need of vacuuming! Breakfast tables needed to be wiped down as well. Other than that, our stay was good enough.

This is my second time staying at Baymont in Fulton and it is just what is expected from a hotel without over spending. The hotel is exceptional, and they do have complimentary breakfast, with a restaurant right next door and gas station. Checking in is always a fast and easy process. Baymont by Wyndham in fulton is our go to hotel when in town.
