Would not stay here or any of this chain again. It was definitely an older building with lots of quirks. Doors had to be slammed open to gain access, leaks in the hallways. major temperature differences, took about a half mile to get to our room. The halls had trash laying around when we got in, overflowing trash cans, and everything was the same as we were leaving and had not been cleaned yet. We checked in late at night (about 12:30am) and by the time we went to gather our things offer breakfast (8:30am) the card had deactivated and had to go all the way back down to the desk to reprogram then all the way back to the room. Overall staff was friendly and helped when needed but we shouldn’t have had to have needed their help for basic tasks.

There was political information in the lobby supporting one party. I mentioned that I felt it was inappropriate with Political party to be represented. The front said nothing. It was not until I asked her if she would pass the word onto the manager that she said yes. It was definitely obvious that she was a supporter of that political card as well. It was on the lobby desk facing any guest, checking into the hotel very inappropriate in my opinion

Quick stay

I went to stay in a bad snowstorm to be able to work the next morning. I arrived late so did not see much of the hotel. Breakfast was really good!

Needs some work

Although this is an acceptable choice for an overnight stay, clean, with friendly reception clerks, this hotel needs to step up its game to live up to its potential. We were housed in a room at the very far end of the building from the reception area. The furniture of our room was all we needed, but on a cold winter night, the bed covering was light and no extra blanket was available. The occupants of the adjoining room were a raucous crowd, laughing, shouting, bumping around their room until very late at night. As the hotel appeared to have only one staff member on duty, there seemed little point in complaining. When I attempted to shower, I could not get any water at all from the fixture. In the morning, we sampled the provided breakfast. We know this service is often more of a hint of breakfast rather than a meal, but in our travels we are occasionally pleasantly surprised. In this case, there was no surprise. Again, the lone front desk clerk also was tasked with managing the breakfast bar, which meant food stations emptied and weren't refilled. Complaining of the shower problem, I was advised, "You have to yank it really hard!" This did work, but at this point, we were close to check-out time. If a bed for the night is all you need, this will work, but Morgantown has a lot of options you may wish to consider. 2 stars.

Old, but trying

The hotel is quite old, although we were told that conversion to a "suites" facility was in the works. Meanwhile, several amenities - including two desk lamps - didn't work. The staff worked hard to make things right. Breakfast was pretty good.
