Room was messed up when we areived (huge gap in door and door seals damaged). Walked in and it wasn't totally clean. Asked for a diff room but told none were available. Left our stuff

Hotel was great for price and location. We would have liked shampoo and a blow dryer in the room. Those of us who got the bigger fridge with the freezer loved that. That is important for us when traveling with kids. Big plus that it was close to Legoland.

I usually choose Motel 6 because it’s a reliable chain—you know what to expect. Unfortunately, this location breaks that trust entirely. Check-in took over an hour because there was no one at the front desk, and no way to get help. Once someone did arrive, the staff was rude and completely unprofessional, which was a stark contrast to the typically courteous service I've experienced at other Motel 6 locations. To make things worse, a cockroach was crawling on the wall in my room, which I photographed. Cleanliness and basic hygiene are clearly not a priority here. The management seems indifferent to customer experience. There’s an attitude of “take the money and deal with it,” which is incredibly frustrating after a long day of travel. If you're considering this motel—don’t. There are far better options nearby that respect your time, your comfort, and your health.

My room was non smoking but it had a distinct smoke odor. It looks like the hotel tried to eradicate with a lot of disinfectant and air circulation. So the odor want their fault. I hope they charged the culprit big time. Since I was only there for the night and leaving early in the morning, I decided to let it go and just stay there. The hotel did try to eradicate the problem from a previous guest, so I won't fault the hotel. Buy they should try to make sure the room is fully smoke odor free for the next guest.

Room was ok, bathroom was old and needs updating, mold around bathtub. This motel is right next to the freeway, so expect noise. Gal at checkin could use some people skills, instead of lack of interest in customer/job! Bed was comfortable, but with that being said. Will not be returning.

Booked a non smoking room , the room smelled horribly of smoke. We were only staying there for one night, but after being in that room for less than 11 hrs my daughters pack n play stinks ! And so does the clothes we wore in the bed. Very disappointed and would not recommend this place.

Terrível. Quarto com cheiro ruim, tinha uma mosca voando no quarto (foto em anexo) sofá sujo, fedido e em péssimas condições, carpete nojento, banheiro sujo, com cabelos no chão e no vaso! A cortina do banheiro não dava para encostar, secador quebrado, enrosquei meu cabelo e deu trabalho para tirar. Café da manhã terminava às 09h, chegamos 8:49 apenas para pegar um café e sair (pois iríamos comer em outro lugar), a funcionária mal educada, trancou a porta e fingiu que não estávamos falando com ela. Não perca seu dinheiro! Pior hotel (se que é que pode se chamar de hotel) da viagem! TENEBROSO!

Honestly for a motel 6 it wasn’t bad! It was a last minute booking, so it was nice they had availability. Check in was alright, I think the front desk lady was on dinner break because I waited about an hour before someone was even there to check me in. When she got there though she was very friendly and quick. The room was fine. I recommend bringing your own pillows and maybe an extra blanket, since the pillows were flat and the blankets were thin. The mattress was comfortable though. You can tell despite the wear and tear on the room, they actually did a good job cleaning everything. The bathroom had a bit of mold around the tub, and towels were pretty small. Water pressure was great. The room was always really humid inside for some reason. It didnt bother me though, I’d open up the door and get that fresh ocean air anyways. Room was quiet and in a good location. If you’re looking for a cheap yet comfortable and safe place to stay, this is your spot! The price is unbeatable. There’s nothing else in the area that’s even remotely this cheap. I had low expectations for a motel 6 but this one was actually great for the money. I dare say I would stay here again!
