The staff were amazing and the overall feel of the hotel was really nice. The major let down was the food. Breakfast isn’t very nice which was surprising. Options are limited and the buffet type stuff wasn’t great. We also had lunch in the courtyard which was very bland. The shower was really nice to use except for the leaking water all over the floor. Would stay at a W again but would have to check out breakfast options beforehand.

The W Rome is one of the best hotels we've stayed at in a long time. The service and attention to detail is what sets this place a part from other 5 star hotels. I'll start first with the location and the property itself. The location is perfect if you are looking for a hotel that is central but also off the beaten path and away from the touristy, very busy areas. We loved how close the W is to the Spanish steps, but far enough away so that when you come home after a long day of walking and sightseeing it's quiet and relaxing. Second, the property is absolutely stunning. The décor and the entire vibe of the hotel is modern, yet in keeping with the beautiful architecture that is Rome. Next, the breakfast every morning was just perfection. Everything is made fresh and some of the best breakfast options we had on our entire Italy trip. I still think about our breakfast that we had at W South Beach and I will be doing the same for a long time to come about the W Rome!! Lastly, I'd like to note the amazing attention to detail of the housekeeping and front door / concierge staff. Coming home every day to the best turn down service / extra water / treats for our anniversary was just the best and so appreciated after a long day of walking and touring the city. Next, every time we got in a taxi, the staff made sure the driver had the right address and coordinated all of that perfectly for us. Those "small details" are what set hotels a part. We will be back and can't wait!!
