The hotel itself is lovely - the room was large and comfortable, with lots of places to sit and relax. I think they might be understaffed. There was no one at the desk when we got there around 4 pm, just contradictory signs encouraging us to be patient, someone will be back soon, and to call if you need service. As the line behind us grew, I called, and the staff member seemed surprised that we wanted to check in. She was very nice but clearly had been cleaning some area of the hotel. When we came back out a half hour later, same situation, big line of annoyed guests waiting to check in and no one at the desk. The next morning, though signs everywhere declared that the cafe was open at 6 for coffee, and our checking person had advertised this as well, it was dark. Apparently it was the head chef’s birthday and there was no one to cover? My husband went out for coffee and came back, still nothing. By the time we left, around 8:30, it was clearly open. Anyway, our sleeping experience and the room itself and all of the amenities were great, and everyone we spoke to was nice. But they need a few more staff members to run efficiently.
