The hotel was conveniently located for the ferry and for all dining options and shopping in Oban. It was quite and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was fortifying. It was showing signs of heavy use, but that did not detract from a good night's sleep before continuing our travels into the Hebrides.

I had a lovely stay at The Royal Hotel Oban the first room was a bit tired but look past that and appreciate how clean it was bed towel tip top. The second room was very clean also bathroom had been upgraded very nice. Staff were all very helpful but the creme del a creme breakfast a lovely selection of very well prepared food if anyone finds fault could you ask them what they have at home
