Left at 4am as far too noisy. No control.

I have stayed at the Village Walsall many times myself. It was my father’s birthday so I booked him and my mum there as a treat after spending the day with them. I’ve never stayed on a Friday evening but they left at 4am in the morning due to the extensive noise from other guests. I have called the hotel and they apologised and said they have a number of weddings over the weekend. This was such a disappointment as we’d had a great day on the Friday and we were going to all have breakfast together but they returned to their home in Nottingham as they just could not sleep. When. They left at 4am, there were people sat drinking on the stairwell. If hotels are going to cater for weddings, it’s imperative that they ensure the other guests have the experience sold to them. I paid over £80 for their room, I could have paid for them to stay in a local b&b for less and they’d have had a much better experience. Sorry Village hotel, as stated I’ve stayed there numerous times myself and always left a positive review. However on this occasion the standards fell way short. Must do better.

Nice hotel - bad night stay

Hotel is nice, and I am sure I just got a bad room. Sadly an incredibly loud extractor fan in the bathroom that could not be silenced until I stuffed it with socks. And the guests above at all hours of the night walking back and forth, and the noise came straight into the room.

Great stay again, friendly staff

Great stay at The Village, in the area visiting relatives and the hotel was perfect. Traveled from U.S and we were very tired after a long trip. Check in was super easy and friendly, shout out to Kieran who made it quick and simple. Breakfast was good, staff helpful and bed comfortable. Will be back when in the area again
