This was my first time staying here, I liked how it was right off the Mass Pike, and looks to be a former Howard Johnson Inn which I love! I arrived late, was initially given room 241, after a lengthy check in process late at night, just past midnight, it was pouring, I bring all of my items up the stairs (no elevator) and open the door to a filthy uncleaned room covered in garbage... I drag all my belongings back outside, (no interior hall to lobby) to go to front desk, and was instead given a 2 queen room, as they sold out of king rooms, I then had room number 238, that was clean and quiet. The staff went to "verify" my complaint the initial room was a mess. Even numbers face away from highway.
So my second room, initially the refrigerator was very loud, but did get quieter later on before I went to sleep luckily. I liked how there was a nice balcony, the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The beds have metal frames and perhaps no box spring and they hurt if you bump into it! The frame was also a bit squeaky at times.
One hand towel was covered in stains.
The hotel was quite busy but was able to find a parking spot.
Breakfast was typical of a Quality Inn, decent selection with eggs, waffles, sausage, breads, muffins, and yogurts including Walmart brand which was interesting. The coffee wasn't that great though. I did like that breakfast is until 10am on weekends.
Overall it was a good value, easy on/off highway, and a decent place for a one night stay!
