Overall, the property itself was very nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and the amenities were solid, so no complaints there. However, the check-in and check-out times were frustrating. A 4:00 PM check-in combined with an early check-out significantly reduces the actual usable time of the stay. It ends up feeling like you are paying for a full night but only getting a partial day. Because of that, I will be avoiding hotels with these kinds of hours going forward. It takes away from an otherwise great stay and just doesn’t feel like a good value.

Breakfast was great. AC fine I had reservation 4/15-4/19. I was called on 4/18 at 11 saying there was stuff in the room and I had checked out that morning at 630. This wasn’t the case. I explained I had a reservation and had it on my phone. The lady said I could reserve a longer stay by need a credit card. I had already paid for my stay. I was on the Westside touring Glen Erie castle. I had to leave ( loosing the money I paid for the tour and tea) I got back to the hotel, they had checked out someone at 630 that morning and they gave my room number. So it was the staffs fault. I wasn’t happy but it did get worked out. But all I could think is they were going to take my stuff out of the room before I got there. Very stressful. Not what you go on vacation for.

When the room isn't carpeted is makes the room a lot noisier. Especially when the person above you has a heavy footfall with significant activity at 5:37 am. Would have liked to get a bit more sleep in the morning.

The man at check in was not friendly at all. Also booked room wanting to use top tub. Needless to say the last time we were there hot tub was not working a yr in a half ago. When we seen the same sign saying hot hot was out of order that was not listed on the website.
