The place had a face lift and it shows but still can see some random things like the ceiling fan with no light and makes noise or the light coming in at night from the hallway. Staff was not very helpful on arrival just handed me the key, did not tell me where the room was. seemed to be bothered by having to talk to me. For the price it was fine but would not seek out staying here again. Breakfast was okay but eggs and sausage (while a nice touch) were greasy.

The TV in our room didn’t work, the office said someone was coming to replace the TV 3 times and no one ever did. Our room didn’t have a refrigerator as listed in the amenities, the blinds were taped up to hold them closed.

This is my second time staying here. I enjoy this hotel! However, the water did not stay hot for a long time you’d have to turn it off for a couple mins and turn it back on for it to come back hot. Also took over an hour for towels to get delivered to our room. Minus that it was great!

The man working at the front is so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was quiet but the rooms and building could use some better maintenence and cleaning. I wasn't too bothered with it since we weren't in the room that much but it would match the price of the room just by cleaning the rooms better.

When I booked this hotel, the reviews seemed decent for the price. There were older negative reviews, but more recent ones mentioned the hotel had been remodeled, which made me feel more confident. When I arrived, I tried to check in early, but no one was at the front desk. After about 10 minutes, someone spoke through the Ring camera and said early check-in wasn’t available due to being fully booked the night before. I understood and came back later. The man at the front desk was very nice and helpful, but that was the only time I saw him. I did not see him throughout my day or when I would go into the front desk office. The hallways and stair areas looked dirty, and the building seemed to need maintenance. The room looked nice at first, but the walls inside were also dirty. The towels had visible stains, and one of the bed sheets had a stain as well, so we removed it. It was late, so we didn’t request replacements. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it feels poorly maintained and understaffed, which seems like a management issue. It just needs better cleaning and upkeep to match the expectations set by the newer reviews.

The staff was courteous, the room was comfortable and clean, I liked the balcony and view (even if it looked inland and not seaward) and it was located close to where I wanted to be. The restaurants in the area were a bit pricey (but good), so I appreciated the continental breakfast being substantial enough I didn't have to pay a premium someplace else in the morning. Internet wasn't great; but I don't blame them, it's a tough spot for that. I could get email, but had trouble streaming anything. Next time I'll download something to watch in advance (they have direct tv but I'm spoiled by video on demand streaming services.) I'll stay there again if the opportunity comes up.
