The Inn on St. Ann — NOLA

Classic French Quarter digs for a reasonable price. The 3rd floor walkup is not for the immobile or faint of heart, but it will keep you fit! Very nice staff.

charming but needs some TLC

Pros: proximity to French quarter and walkability, staff was kind/friendly, nice A/C in the room, cute courtyard Cons: extremely low water pressure (hard to get shampoo out of hair), wifi almost unusable, we had an issue where part way through our trip the key card just stopped working and they weren't able to get us a replacement card until later in the evening which left us unable to access our room late at night. The room wasn't dirty, but there were small things, like stained and flimsy towels, scratches on the wall, etc. that made it feel like the hotel could use a facelift. Also, one of the locks on our door didn't work. The staff was extremely kind and friendly, but when we called requesting assistance, we didn't get help. For example, housekeeping only comes every 3 days, but we ran out of toilet paper. We called twice asking for some. Hours later, we found a housekeeping staff member who helped, but we had to hunt down and find someone on our own. For the price and location, we don't regret staying here, but there were just a few minor inconveniences that would give us pause if we were to return.

Cute simple place to stay, I highly recommend

Nice lil place to stay. I chose the regular room because it was just for sleeping and showering. A curved staircase to go to the second and third floors. A few more stairs(3) in the hall depending on where your room is, and about 4 stairs inside the room to access the bathroom. There is an ice bucket, cups, bottled water, coffee marker and supplies inside of room. Bathroom was stocked with body wash, shampoo, etc. but, No oral care, Everything was clean, staff were exceptional, the man that works nights made our stay so much greater with all his hospitality, knowledge and recommendations. I would stay here again just for him. The location was walkable to everything I needed. The only con would be thin walls, and need black out curtains on the window.

Perfect location

Very cute, clean room In An excellent location to enjoy Burton Street and Canal street activities. Right smack in the French Quarter! We walked everywhere. We felt safe. Room was small but great for a couple on a short stay. Reasonable cost for the location.

What a hidden gem in the French Quarter! My stay was part of a longer trip and I really needed to get away from the craziness of Bourbon Street. My room was incredibly quiet and safe, with lots of vintage charm. I wish I could've stayed longer and I definitely will return!

Very close to Bourbon Street and attractions, quiet area, pretty exterior. Had booked a better room which I wasn't given, the room I was given was nice and in a cute courtyard however it was small with a full sized bed not the booked queen bed so. There was also a very loud alarm which kept going off including at 3am for 6 hours, one staff member did try and fix it the follow day. Staff were helpful.

Lovely quiet inn at the edge of the historic district. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Just 5 minutes walk to Bourbon street but is far enough to avoid all the noises. Only have two complaints, the WiFi does not reach to the Voodoo House (where my room is located), and the water pressure can be better. Overall it is a great place to stay if you want to be in the historic district.

pro: Stil der Unterkunft, Fußnähe zu allem. Die Örtlichkeit war ruhig und doch zentral. Sehr sauber. Contra: Schlechtes Wifi. Kein Kühlschank, Stuhl Tisch im Deluxe-Zimmer. sehr schlechte Erfahrung: Heute (Fr) ist unsere Abreise nach dem Wintersturm in New Orleans. Es war klar, dass keine öffentlichen Transportmittel fahren. Wir brauchen also dringend ein Taxi (wie viele andere an dem Tag) und haben dies deutlich am Do- an der Reception erklärt und um rechtzeitige Reservierung des Taxis gebeten. Meine Zimmernummer gab ich für Rückfragen an. Ich habe eine frühe Zeit das Taxi bestellt, weil mein Mann Lungenkrank ist, nur sehr langsam laufen kann ... Das Taxi kam nicht, weil der weiße Receptionist mit Brille Glitzeruhr bei seinem Kontakt niemand fand. Anstelle eine andere Taxigesellschaft zu bitten, oder zumindest uns zu informieren, damit wir im Internet eine Lösung finden, standen wir heute pünktlich 7:30 da ... und da erfuhren wir erst, dass es gar kein Taxi gab. Hinzukam, dass die Polizei noch die Autobahn gesperrt hatte, so dass die Fahrt sowieso noch länger dauerte. Das ist unprofessionell und extrem ärgerlich (und die Dringlichkeit war dem Herrn bewusst, zumal ich es auch nochmal erklärt hatte). Hätte sich nicht die afroamerikanische Rezeptionistin eingesetzt, wäre es noch schlimmer gelaufen. 30 Min später kam das Taxi, noch 30 Min länger Fahrt durch die Sperrung ... von einer entspannten Abreise kann also keine Rede sein. So bitte nicht mit Gästen umgehen.
