You check into the mar monte hotel then receive a map to get to the actual hotel a lot of the things in the room are branded mar monte it feels almost like a self serve airbnb that got bought out by the hotel lol. i did get charged a $13 water fee when i didnt drink the water in the room not worth fighting over something small like that but a bit off putting. overall it’s not a bad place to stay. nothing that blew your socks off and no true complaints.

I made a confirmed reservation through Hotels.com and received an official confirmation letter directly from this hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk staff claimed they could not locate my reservation and, shockingly, never even asked for my name. I presented my confirmation number and documentation, yet they falsely stated they could not find it and refused to provide any assistance, citing that the hotel was at full capacity. The staff demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and integrity. It was evident they did not even attempt to verify the confirmation number. As a paying guest with valid proof of reservation, I was left without accommodations through no fault of my own. Due to their negligence and dishonest handling of the situation, I am in the process of pursuing this matter through the proper legal and consumer protection channels. I strongly advise others to avoid this establishment entirely.

We spent one night at the Palmoro house. The lights in the bathroom and sink area went out Sunday afternoon, and we called the front desk. They did not answer, and did not respond to the vm. We walked to the front desk at Mar Monte because we could not get the golf cart to get us. The lights came back on, but the next morning the lights went out again. Also, you can only watch the TV if you cast from your own device but the WiFi was too weak to successfully watch. The staff was great but stretched too thin. We did like access to the amenities at Mar Monte, but to get out of Palmoro house parking you had to get out of your car to press a button too far from the car. However the price was right, and the location close to the beach is excellent.

Having access to the main hotel and restaurants was ideal. The Palmoro house itself was clean however we easily heard guests in other rooms and the ac unit struggled to keep unit cool.

Larm

Der er utroligt meget larm, fra motorvejen og togbanen. Togene tuder i hornet flere gange når de køre forbi. Pool, træningscenter og lignende ligger 400m væk på et andet hotel. Og det var næsten umuligt at få et sted at side eller ligge, ved poolen, da gæster fra hotellet gik ned og bookede fra morgenstunden. Det lykkes ikke os de 3 gange vi var der oppe. Værelset var ok og rent og der er en ok udsigt fra anden sal.

We got 1 room with 2 beds and they gave us 1 bed that pull out from wall which was very bad an very low, spiders over the place in 30 minutes in that room I killed 2 spiders, floor was with cheap laminate feels like not a hotel room at all, thankfully they changed our room for better but still only with 1 bed in bring one roll over bed, it was better than nothing, but it wasn’t a good rest night as we planned on vacation of Easter weekend check with staff before you came in to this hotel, looks like its common issues with getting wrong rooms here after I checked the reviews from other people, not worth of money if you have to go through this

Perfect little family get-away

It was the perfect place for my daughter and I while we were in town to visit UCSB. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful bike path and close to an ocean front restaurant. Cute little park for kids and restrooms at the beach.
