Certainement le meilleur hôtel dans lequel nous avons séjourné, tout est parfait et notamment la literie qui est exceptionnelle. Très bon emplacement par ailleurs. Seul petit couac : nous avons demandé un départ tardif que l’on nous a refusé catégoriquement alors qu’il y avait des suites juniors encore disponibles ; nous avons dû payer une nuit supplémentaire pour quelques heures passée dans la chambre plutôt que d’être à la rue avec une enfant de 7 ans pendant plusieurs heures ! Mais cela n’efface pas notre superbe séjour, c’est juste un manque de tact et de sens commercial de la part de l’accueil.

Vi bodde på Sommero i Oslo och upplevelsen var helt fantastisk från början till slut. Hotellet är otroligt vackert och genomtänkt i minsta detalj, med en atmosfär som känns både exklusiv och välkomnande på samma gång. Servicen var professionell men ändå varm och personlig, vilket gjorde att vi kände oss omhändertagna hela tiden. Ett av resans höjdpunkter var brunchen i Expressionshallen – en plats som nästan tog andan ur oss. Miljön är storslagen och elegant, med en arkitektur och inredning som verkligen gör att man vill stanna länge. Maten var otroligt fin, med ett brett utbud som både överraskade och imponerade. Varje rätt kändes genomarbetad och smakupplevelsen var på högsta nivå. Drycken som serverades var också utmärkt och matchade maten perfekt. Sammanfattningsvis levererade Sommero en helhetsupplevelse som vi gärna återvänder till. Kombinationen av miljö, mat, dryck, service och atmosfär gör det till ett hotell som sticker ut på riktigt.

Incredible hotel, beautiful decor, spacious and comfortable rooms. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with live jazz and great service. The spa staff were so helpful and my husband’s deep tissue massage was perfect. The rooftop pool and spa are a must. Breakfast is plentiful, fresh and delicious. It has great connections to the centre and the airport transport links.

Not a service for a 5 star hotel; the structure is amazing with spa and restaurants very impressive. I would definitely improve the level of service: guest service by phone not efficient; we had a problem with the conditioning air which was not solved.

Lovely staff who went over and above to help. We turned up on a busy Saturday night for dinner and the lady at the front desk ran after us after a spot for four opened up suddenly, very kind. We were on floor 5 and could hear quite loud, clear music until the early hours though.

This hotel takes me back in time.. not in my time.. I truly appreciate history and I love the decor of this hotel. Such careful attention was paid to the renovation to reflect the original build. We were even there for a Jazz Band and the only thing missing were retro costumes.. It could have been 1928. Very cool! The room was beautiful with lots of storage and the dinner options were amazing. Great places to eat right here at the hotel. It is a little off the path, but what fun it was to walk or take convenient transportation just outside the front entrance to explore the other parts of the city. Our stay was wonderful.. Thank you so very much.

Not a great neighborhood but easy to access train station. Room upgraded 'superior' small and zero view; told they were sold out and could not move us. Despite being next to elevators, very quiet. Breakfast buffet in dining room is beautiful and varied; however, egg orders have to be ordered at station and ready within minutes but found them cold and had to go back. Sit near the buffet area; very large room. Worst was we negligently left our passports in the safe; they use a sub contracted service which sends packages by the cheapest slowest UPS service; took 5 days to arrive (I actually had to fly back to Oslo to retrieve that package to save another day of delivery delay!) whereas we used a baggage porter service for our suitcases that did same day delivery service to Bergen. They really didn't care.
