It's a nice hotel with great location but NOISY! Sound carried from the pool, from the hallways, from the elevator. And unfortunately our partial ocean view balcony was right over a street gas repair project that started around 7am and stopped at 2am only to start again at 7am. I think hotel should have given us what info they could but instead both my calls went unreturned. On check out I spoke with manager and was comped our parking fee ($63). My car was covered in construction dust and no sleep for half my stay...i wasn't a happy customer

Clean, comfortable rooms. Welcoming staff and fun, beach vibe. The deck area looking out to the Pacific is great for a sunset cocktail, or early morning coffee. Highly recommended.

Andrew was excellent at check in. He welcomed us with sincerity and gave us great information about the hotel and area. He was very efficient. The room was clean and very nice. Dorothy in the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful. Gladys at checkout thanked us. Great experience for us.

Unbelievable experience. I stayed here many times years ago. This was a definite step up from past management. Great linens, loved the fireplace in the room, enjoyed the ocean view deck for incredible sunsets nightly and the breakfast was the best selection we have ever had. Great staff!!!!! Will definitely return. Used the trolley for free from Airport to Old Town and the Coaster train to Carlsbad. Used the train to go to Oceanside to Pronto office to fix ticket purchase issue and then to Downtown to take the Sea boat excursion and lunch at Seaport Village.
