While our stay is rather pleasant, I think the hotel staff can work on being more warm and welcoming. Bed is comfy. Breakfast selection is great. Dining area looks amazing but a male waiter makes us feel unwelcome.

A very nice hotel. No A/C was the reason it missed 5 stars. Our Junior suite was nice and roomy, nice bathroom and good mattress. Other then the initial problem at check in we only met great people working there. Breakfast is probably the best you’ll get within 100km. Al in all a very nice stay and we certainly will chose it again once we need to visit our Bavarian family roots again.

On the hottest day of the year I was undoubtedly given the worst room possible. In an almost empty hotel, the staff had chosen to give me an oven of a room to stay in… To not have aircondition in a 4-stars hotel baffles me in 2026. One window in direct Sun into a little alley made the room temperature up to 40 degrees celcius with no possibilities to lower it I made the decision to cut my stay short, because I wouldn’t get any sleep under these conditions… I was actually better of in my car with its aircon, even though there were no toilet facilities. The two young girls in the reception I was in contact with was very sweet and service minded and in no Way responsible for the hotel managements decision to book this awfull room. I’m in no doubt that the restaurant was of very High standarts but the main objektive of a stay at a hotel is the experience of a good nights sleep and that was not an option in Hotel Zur Post unfortunatly. I Will Not be coming back.

It is a very nice property, I had the suite which made it very spacious and pleasant viw of the square etc. The young woman at check in was not very knowledgable about the way to provide information, e.g., about breakfast, the in room amenities, offering to help with any local information that might be of interest etc. It is almost as if it was her first day.

Ich hatte einen rundum sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel Zur Post und war wirklich super zufrieden mit dem Service von A bis Z. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut und bot eine schöne Auswahl. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett angenehm bequem – perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem langen Tag. Besonders positiv aufgefallen sind mir auch die netten Kleinigkeiten wie ein Nähset oder ein Schwamm zum Schuheputzen – solche Details machen den Unterschied. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder!
