Top Notch Meals & Relaxation

Recently stayed for 3 nights following our wedding at another resort. We loved how private and relaxing this adults only location was. The food & drinks were top notch. The Asian restaurant was a favorite and room service did not disappoint. If you have a sweet tooth - don't skip on the carrot cake or flan. By the pool we enjoyed grilled shrimp tacos and octopus ceviche. They got our order wrong one day and brought fried shrimp tacos, which were also delicious. The pools were lovely. We enjoyed that you didn't have to exchange cards for towels and there were plenty of chairs. One pool has more activities and music, the other is a bit more relaxing and quiet. While this resort didn't have a lot of activities going on it ranked high for us if you are looking for a place to unwind and enjoy high quality food. You could go visit their other properties. We didn't have a chance to do this. The one downside, while some resorts have a relaxed policy on staying onsite once you check out, this resort only lets you use your AI bracelet until 12pm. They then require you to pay for anything additional you order.

And...We have a New Favorite!

Each year, we travel with friends, and this time it was unanimous – we've found our new favorite spot! We've visited several destinations, but this one truly stands out. From the location and accommodations to the staff, weather, and peaceful atmosphere, everything was perfect. The staff was helpful in every aspect from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, they made things easy. Let's not forget the food. It was exceptional! Although this trip was shorter than usual, so we didn't explore outside the resort but we didn't feel like we were missing anything! We personally loved the snack bar available all day. At some resorts we've felt like we had to hunt for snacks between meals, but these 'snacks' were great, and we ate lunch there as well. Everything we tried...and we tried them all. I can’t recommend this resort enough for a hassle free, EXCELLENT service in all aspects, vacation. It’s truly outstanding and we will be returning and soon!

Nice stay but not for a 1-day stay

Hard to get room service... room maintenance is terrible in terms of getting things done (room temperature; water temp for in-room pool). During express check-in they make you sit in this comfortable place on tower's 3rd floor... by the time you get to your room it is 5 PM, pool service is closed, and temperature starts dropping fast in front of the pacific. First day is non-existent. Check out is at 11 AM. So I do not recommend this place for 1-day stay at all.

In the spa, loved the facial but do NOT recommend the massages; in the restaurants, great reservations, hostesses positivity and timely accommodating at sushi with great service from Oscar. and Penisula Ricardo was a five star dining experience. Felini’s was delectable with victor’s cheese/pasta but the stairs were difficult; the pools were warm, the staff went beyond, the landscaping is picturesque, breakfast hostess Itzel was exceptional, and the drinks had discernible liquor!!! We met the manager of the five restaurants at pacifica and he was delightful and caring. BTW your quality towels and bedding were appreciated.

We loved how secluded this property felt. In the mountains and on the Pacific coast side, it was so quiet with an empty beach and not a lot of resorts around. It has a romantic vibe. The restaurants and staff were great. It’s located in a gated Quivira district, and the resort provides free transportation to other Quivira amenities, like Sunset Beach and the golf club, which expands the dining choices. This is not the same as the shuttle to the marina based PB properties, and we never waited more than 10 min for a ride. Marina is a $17 taxi, but if you want to visit San Jose it is further. The resort was very clean, but the furniture in our room showed signs of some wear and tear, so it’s not sparkling new. That’s my only complaint.
