Automated self check-in was great with a little help from the girls at reception. Stayed in a Club Room which comes with free parking, gym access and was very clean and tidy but no bigger than a normal room in any other hotel. Very busy hotel as it has a fitness gym on site for locals to use. Food and beer a little pricey but was a modern and comfortable place to eat. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay again

Great gym, nice pool, good breakfast and a nice English breakfast. Everything was great apart from not having a direct access to train/bus station (bus connection from nearby still OK), and the view from the window wasn't the prettiest. Excellent value.

Room was excellent very clean and comfortable for 1 adult and 2 14 year olds. Check in staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast area needs to be more organised. Ran out of cups..food ingredients..messy areas. Staff seemed stressed and over worked. Clearly need to employ an extra member of staff to overcome this. A long wait to get served which was an issue for some older guests. It wasnt the stress free start I needed. Its a shame as the hotel was lovely apart from the chaotic breakfast area.

The second time i have stayed here. The first time, the room was great and just what I needed. The second time, I booked a compact room which was ridiculously hot and despite having the air con on full blast and coldest temp, it never cooled down. The air coming out of the air con was very weak and i struggled to sleep at all through the night, even with the desk fan on next to the bed.

When we arrived to our room, the room was very hot and there was no way we would be able to stay and sleep in there as a family of 4 and the air con was not working (in the UK heat wave). I went down to reception and spoke to Maria who went above and beyond to help us more rooms. There was no more double rooms to fit us but was moved to interconnecting rooms. So just wanted to say Maria was fantastic and a credit to the hotel team.
