Hotel and service was great. The girls who checked up in and out were very nice and friendly. The hotel itself was nice on the inside and seemed clean and cozy. The only issue is that it’s right by a freeway and way to many homeless people outside roaming around the parking lot. We had one homeless man walk in front of our car while we were entering the parking lot of the hotel and he came to my side door on the passenger side and tried opening my door! Then there was another homeless person walking around the parking lot looking inside the cars. They said they had security but we never saw them. We were scared are our car was going to be broken into. We would definitely stay at another aloft hotel but definitely not this location due to so many homeless people in the area. Especially having one trying to open our car door while driving was really scary.

The staff was very friendly. The front door has an extra layer of security, which was a nice surprise. The area is industrial and right by the highway. Makes for easy access if you need to go somewhere, but also not so great if you have a room facing the highway. The room was comfortable and clean. The king bed was spacious and comfortable. The shower was clean and had good pressure. Did not try the breakfast.

On arrival the front desk clerk was really rude. She would not let us speak and continued to talk over us. I had to change my reservations due to the weather (in town for a tournament). The customer service received on the phone was 100% better then when we arrived at the hotel (Samantha - Operations Manager A+++).
The front desk clerk proceeded to let us know that they were canceling rooms if they could not charge the cards. This was concerning to me because we had not checked in yet and my booking was to pay upon arrival. After speaking to another customer, the hotel wanted to cancel any rooms that they could not charge ahead of time to make room for guest from a concert that night. I was under the impression that they may have gotten my reservations mixed up and was charging me for the prior day. Front desk clerk would not let me get clarification. It was her explanation or no conversation. They need to work on the front desk customer service.

Well when I got to my room the TV didn't work and when I called downstairs the person said oh yeah I knew that. I said if you knew that why didn't you tell me that because it's kind of important to me on my stay. She said it's okay we knew that yet yesterday and I'll give you a room credit you want to ask how much is a room credit she said I don't know you can find out tomorrow.. I went down the next day and they said oh there's nothing in the computer but will move your room and you'll have to complain because you booked through a third party and you'll get a free room after they contact the hotel.
