Wife and I had a great stay. I am just overcoming a bout with cancer and my wife and I needed a break from the daily grind. We booked a room with this property as we have enjoyed staying with them in the past. The room was beyond nice and beyond what we expected. It has a full sized refrigerator and a two burner stove. The property has full time security. There are too many amenities to list; swimming, basketball and arcade games as well as volleyball. They even have an on site Starbucks. This property is always extremely well manicured and maintained. As I said, I have just overcome a battle with cancer and the staff really bent over backwards to make certain our stay was as nice as possible. Chad was the desk person who checked us in, he's a super nice guy. Whenever we make a trip to Branson, this is one of the places that we love to stay.

We booked through Hotels.com. I made the mistake of coming down a day early. We ended up paying 3 times our booked rate for 1 night. We had to wait for them to clean a room, which would be understandable if the parking area was full but there was about 3 cars in the lot for our room. The bathtub was not clean, probably because the drain was slow. They talked us into a time share presentation that was supposed to be 2 hours but was 3 hours long. We asked for the room to be tidied up but was told they would not clean the room until we checked out. It was a no frills room, bed, tv and bathroom (that's what I booked) but there was a drawer that you couldn't open because there was trim in front of it. There was also no closet to hang clothes in.

Beautiful location. Although they couldn't control the bad weather during our stay, they could've warned us the Hot Tub wasn't heated as the element was broken so it was a cold bubble tub instead which was disappointing. The Ozark Fun House was great though, and indoor pool was warm. The room we stayed in was damp and smelled musty but was clean-ish. We could hear everyone above and beside us but we enjoyed our stay.

The ladies at the store/coffee shop were very rude, and unapproachable. If we ever stay there again we will request a top floor room so we won’t hear stomping at 5am. Everything else was fine. We normally stay at Westgate, but after this trip we will weigh our options.

The trip itself was a great stay! Westgate was a perfect area, with great staff. The room was so nice, truly a perfect location. I have no complaints about the place itself but in the comfort/safety level I was a bit frustrated due to the baseball team of unruly pre teen/teen boys that was there with little to no supervision, they took over the pool which made us uncomfortable due to the fact my son and his cousin were not great swimmers, the boys were jumping off the fountain area with signs clearly marked, No jumping, standing or sitting. They were fighting, kicking and not following ANY rules, one boy jumped in right where I was me kicking me in the back, No parents seemed to control these boys. We did see some adults drinking and talking amongst themselves but not sure if they were with these boys. We decided to leave the pool because it was really unsafe and with no staff or lifeguards the out of control boys had the run of the place. We decided to dry off and go to the arcade which was nice for about 20 min but here comes the unruly boys again taking over, one even took my sons points on the prize machine, we got onto the boy since again no parents in sight, So again we decided to leave due to unsupervised kids. We were not able to enjoy the amenities because of those kids. Very unfortunate for other guests that they were not controlled better. We will be back to westgate but will call ahead and make sure there are no teams visiting before we do.

We did not get the room that was pictured when we booked our stay. Because we didn’t want to navigate stairs with our luggage we received a complimentary upgrade to a “much nicer room”. The room was nicer in that it was larger but the room itself was very dark and dated. The carpet was old and seriously needed to be restretched and the room was made for someone bringing things to cook. We had coffee but no sweeteners or creamers. All the pools were closed and reopened the day we left. The complimentary breakfast was a rouse to try and sell stuff. Would rather stay at a Holiday Inn Express!
